i just wanna say i really like what youre doing out there. too many "enthusiasts" out here that hate on the less popular models and the ratty survivors. they only want to see clean upper trim cars with all the bells and whistles. alot of guys give up because they cant finish their car. keep doing what youre doing. that "budget built unfinished cars are cool" attitude is what the car game needs right now. before they all rust and rot away or get retired to the state and sent to an early grave. we are all in this for the hobby and all muscle cars should be appreciated.

Great concept. Had to subscribe, after 2 videos. I wish someone would do this in Alberta Canada. It would be great motivation to get back into my '57 D100. I've been looking to swap the body onto a late 90's Dakota for EFI, modern suspension, and brakes. The truck was originally built in the early 80's while in high school, low budget. '69 Fury was a cheap donor car. Robbed it of it's drivetrain, electrical, and front torsion bar suspension. Late 80's dropped in a 340 and a 727 with 2500 stall. Started to tear her apart, but I'm going to rebuild it like it was in the 80's. My dad taught me about wiring, mechanical, welding and body work. He passed away in May, so I need to re-rebuild this like we originally did.
Finally, found good channel with real people having real fun on real cars, thanks to The House of Muscle. Keep doing this stuff, this is awesome! By the way, now you have subscriber from Russia.

I'm 23 now. first car was a 67 dodge dart I bought for $200 and I mowed lawns all summer to buy it. I've had darts, a 240z, a demon, satellite, tons of GM 2nd gen F bodies and the list goes on. I've worked my way up to a pretty decent 73 camaro driver and I'm restoring a 69 SS 350 4 spd Nova right now. I wish there was a group of guys like you up here in north west Washington. I'll have to come down to one of your guys events someday. I have a lot more respect for your cars then I do cars that never get driven. Rock on brothers.
cee dee Restored all look alike. Ever seen Michael Jacksons face? A good many have so many commie made patch panels etc they should be considered fakes and imports. Every survivor is unique. Wear them scars like a boss.

Found the factory 8 track out of my 70 Challenger. I pulled it in 1982 and shelved it. Just found it, with a Black Sabbath Born Again 8trac still loaded in the deck lol..

Very true. Hey if it helps, I have a ratty GTO she's a 70. Everyone tried to sell me a fake one back when I bought it. Truth is if it were not for the numbers and details like the marker lights on the fender it would be hard for me to tell the difference. That kindasays something for just buying a LeMans or Tempest or Malibu or Nova and adding the hood motor, tail and whatever you like from the SS or GTO. They are all made of 90% the same parts. Just like the guy made an AAR Cuda out of a Cuda He could have started with a plain 318 V8 Barracuda dropped in a 340 added better this and that and had mostly the same thing.

I garuntee you, the young people of today driving classics are what's keeping classic American muscle alive, not just old guys. The younger the driver, the more the appeal.

All I gotta do is get the 440 out the motor home, rebuild, and in the car, fix the brakes, suspension, new tires - other than that she's ready to go! I had two 73's the 1st was a sporty one, but not an RT : Red 3/4 top hood bubble w/ 440 mag emblems, spoiler,, slap stick, side decal stripe, ralleys wheels, wider in rear and so on . it had a 69 440 swapped in with only minor mods (that I know of) MAN that car went sideways when the auto trans hit 2nd gear too hard! The other was an SE w/ a 318 V8 It couldn't even burn rubber until I put headers on it. Expect a huge power change if your motor home 440 has the high compression heads.
I have a 66 Barracuda still with her second paint job from 1976. I run with a crowd of glammer queens that must have perfection when I roll with history. I want to become part of if you are doing so bad but live in Canada. Would love to get some stickers and tees or sweaters.

I think this is one of the coolest events out there! Good job in creating something like this where owning a less than perfect car is acceptable.
