Kindred spirits, I do so many lil things that go unnoticed, until they are noticed, then you get the "WOW" factor. Great video to show how much effort we put into our bikes, or our friends bikes. Stay Safe!
Thanks for the first responder support. I noticed your hat with 511 and I believe the bike you're working on had the thin blue line American flag. Nice work too.
You are correct and very cool that u noticed! I was an EMT-I for a short while, really loved the job and working towards being a paramedic.. I wish there had been more money in it but not making it is made me go into trucking. I have mad respect for a good medic and, as my first husband was the chief of police back in nc, I also have respect for a GOOD officer. my friend that owns this bike in the vid worked in law enforcement and is a big supporter. :) good people!
@@being_eli I'm a Crime Scene Investigations Detective. I used to drive flatbed for Roehl Transport. I still have my CDL plan on going back to it when I retire from the department. Thank you for your service.
that sounds like the coolest job ever!!! I would love to have gone into that line of work! and I have always heard good things about Roehl.. are u able to keep your CDL active? I ask because if u haven't been driving and using it, getting a job can be difficult, which is unfortunate.. its the dumbest "rule" the industry goes by - like if u haven't driven in a year, u most likely forgot everything..... its ridiculous - best of luck to u, but the CSI work sounds incredible!
@@being_eli I do drive racecar haulers on occasion but haven't driven for an actual company since 2006. However I still get my medical card every two years and keep my license current. I didn't know about the industry standard I thought I would just have to go through an orientation and training the company provides. I make a pretty good living but always tease my bosses I can have another job in 5 minutes when they piss me off. It's all in fun I also just got into cigars my favorite one is ACID because they're sweet. Also I was taught to put a twist in your straps they won't loosen up on you as much I don't know if anyone told you or if I'm wrong. Stay safe out there.
if you have been driving under a DOT #, u should be fine.. and yah, the standard is ridiculous.. I have a friend that has driven for 30 yrs but took 2 yrs off due to family stuff and she has had a hell of a time getting hired back with anyone.. I think she got on with a more private firm and can then use that time to show but its really a joke the way FMCSA treats drivers.. and acid used to be my favorite! the blondie belicoso was my go-to! as far as the twist, some drivers say they do that for the wind (?) but I like the look and conformity of the flat. if I tried to get a perfect twist in all my straps I would go nuts... lol!
All the bikes look awesome! Bike weeks are right around the corner. Have you ever been up to Laconia NH for bike week? If not, the coast of NH isn't too far away and is a great place to ride.
I do advise people to buy the bolt kits (I did and love them) but I also do all the other pieces of silver that no bolt set covers.. on my bike, I had already painted all the bolts and THEN found the spiked cover set I wanted at bike week.. they really are a much better choice for the engine... :)
Well besides cigars you and I have something else in common, rubbing alcohol. You use it to clean bike bolts and I use it to clean thermal paste off of CPU’s and heat sinks when I’m building PC’s. Have to get high percentage 93+% rubbing alcohol to help make sure there’s no moisture left on the cpu or heat sink. Wanna paint my lug nuts on my kaabo mantis e-scooter but whoever built my scooter decided to use a whole tube of loc-tite per lug nut and it’s an act of god almighty to take those lugs off, plus also wanna take the tires and motors off so I can replace the inner tubes with green slime filled tubes and a liquid for the motors called statoraid that helps conduct the heat that the motors create leave the motors easier. Awesome video as always
yes there are but they don't cover all the parts that I get to. I do have an engine bolt kit on my bike but there is just so much more to do.. gotta do it by hand
@@being_eli lol just for me it was maybe not others idk i ust had to keep turning it down when music was on then up when you were talking ..anyhow thanks for the video i might do this to my street glide

@@being_eli the Titan or Harbor Frieght are decent for the money but you need to Jazz up the front wheel chalking unit
I have been looking at Handy - they have a great product with some great new upgrades and their customer service is outstanding.. :)
That wore me out just watching. That was a lot of work! Looks great

I put a Woods 222 in my 12 TC couple of years ago. He’s going to love the extra power.
yes I think it will be perfect for him!

Look at the handy motorcycle lift…..
that's the exact one I want!!!
Hello,
Very cool. Can I ask where you got the floorboards?
ebay! mx customs was the shop if I recall..
@@being_eli 😊thanks!
Where can i get the bag reflectors, i have been searching for those exact ones
amazon of all places! easy to apply... I put a similar type on my bike and both sets are staying on and secure, have been pleased with them!
Nice work
Thanks so much!
Great job, but I have a quick idea. Why not just purchase the upgraded color bolt kit & washer set? Just asking looks good, though ❤️

Hey for a price, I will tackle anything!! hehe!!
What paints are you using and have they been holding up. I just upgraded to the 24 cvo road glide. I think I would do this to mine
I generally get mine from AutoZone, the two I use, and primer, are the two I show in the video and they have worked tremendously well!
Sorry, I’m a fucking tard !!! I must have stepped away when you showed your paint cans. Re-played and seen them. Thanks for the response.
lmao! no worries at all there! I do that kind of stuff all the time..
What kind of Cigar do you smoke?
quite a selection.. I love almost everything by CAO, and as far as wrapper leaves, I love a good corojo or Sumatra...
🎉
👍🏾
there's engine dress up kits for that!!!!!just sayin!!!!!!
yes there are but they don't cover all the parts that I get to. I do have an engine bolt kit on my bike but there is just so much more to do.. gotta do it by hand
Great video 👍. the loud music was annoying tho lol
