Dean McEwen , I do know, that 96 through 2003 share same transmission bearings... I also know you can swap 96 through 03 bearings in 04 to 07 to make the transmission swap of 96/97 to the last years... I would imagine, you could drop the 90 through 95 bearings into your 02, and swap the transmission, shift drum and shift assembly... I would order and replace all bearings, since you’d for sure need to swap shaft bearings. 80 bucks off EBay for HotRods. Worst case scenario, out 80 bucks... Having it apart, I’d put new set rings on transmission and replace gear collars (just my opinion), Babbitt’s should have what you need...

I plan on putting 95 six speed in my 02 motor do u know off the top of your head which bearings will have to be changed ?
