Settle on 38 instead of 34 gives you the same 3 wheat and a more useful 8 ore than a wood which you don’t need. Plus it pretty much secure you a spot which you currently may lose if red plows. Also that 8 became critical the next turn when 8 was rolled and you’re short of 1 ore. Could be on 9 and just waiting to settle for the win. But good attempt.
12:06 why are you concerned about road? Double up your 8 ore, when it rolls your wheat rolls are cities, you become an unblockable dev monster, that can still get road through production and, again, devs. Missed golden opportunity to essentially clench the game I think.

dev is hard to compete with red and blue. hard to build to 10. keeping flexible options
@@buddycatanI don’t see how red keeps up honestly, the only roll that isn’t road material is the 4. Just my take though.
