    Great video man! Do u think this is better than Traxxas Maxx 4s taking the price into account or u consider the extra money for the Maxx is justified? I was thinking about both of them but the price of Maxx...I think it's too much for a 1/10.... but I don't want to feel the big rock is just not enough once I've bought it instead of the Maxx....

    • @rcguygarage
      @rcguygarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is always going to be the debate on this stuff. Sometimes it comes down to how you intend to drive, and parts support of that's a concern. Traxxas has been around for quite a while and has their business model down. Arrma is different and has more bashers but also has things in line to make money like Traxxas. Either way you're going to be spending money to keep the cars alive. The Big Rock is less and gives you less in some ways. They are both good RC'S either way it comes down too how deep you want to let them into your pockets.

    • @winstonsmith9619
      @winstonsmith9619 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@rcguygarage I just wanna have fun and not to spend a lot. But don't want to feel as if I committed an error going for the cheapest one... Does the size difference make such a difference?

    • @rcguygarage
      @rcguygarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@winstonsmith9619 larger RCS tend to handle the terrain better at times just due to size. This hobby isn't cheap and it's getting worse. With the Big Rock it's at what cost and the Traxxas is more in the initial cost.

    • @winstonsmith9619
      @winstonsmith9619 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rcguygaragethank you very much mate. so... I know it's difficult but, if the answer has to be yes or not, period, do u consider it's worth spending £270 extra pounds and get the Maxx for somebody who just wants to have fun a couple of times per month and not spend a lot?

    • @rcguygarage
      @rcguygarage  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@winstonsmith9619 you may get lasting value from the Traxxas but you definitely have to check parts support and don't forget about batteries and a good charger

    • @rcguygarage
      @rcguygarage  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Is just the easy way. KEY would be to NOT run it on conditions that I did. I have an RC drying area in my shop that's heated. But you still need to check things. I also use grease in my bearings and that helps. Lots of things to consider
