honestly i don't get the point of getting textbooks from school like at this point it should be optional since u can easily find pdf versions online plus most of us like me, i've never opened a textbook at home atleast once in my last 3 years of high school 😭
yes i agree that textbooks should be pdfs, but the teachers make us use physical ones - i've been using my bio and history textbooks daily for the past weeks at school :

Syn some people like me learn easier with books and highlighting, i think she's lucky for having those T_T i cannot comprehend pdf books i always get distracted and it hurts the eyes >
My school uses PDF textbooks and I HATE it, this is just me but it makes it so hard to study as you can’t highlight things e.t.c and I find it much easier to learn with physical books. Though it is nice not having to carry around giant textbooks 😅
Our school just lets us borrow them from the library for free as long as we return them in good condition

I would love to have such an organized and aesthetic life! But I'm way too chaotic... And about the textbooks, i feel you, haha. Here in Italy we have to buy 15 of them only for the first year of hs... I recommend using a small trolley instead of a regular backpack, it's better for your back... Love from Italy!
In some areas, it's socially unacceptable to be carrying around a trolley for domestic and personal uses, so typically we use handbags. That also helps with less back pain! Backpacks are a big nono though, when entering high school and other higher grades. The work load gets chaotic, and I ended up getting back pain at the end of one of my highschool years, my parents were baffled, but it's gotten better now. :)
@@cohlinegarnet8313 Agreed, trolleys would get wrecked in the skinny hallways at school, there are over a thousand of us but the hallways are only 2-3 metres wide and if you don’t have much strength then hunny you’re going down on the floor… it’s not fun, I’ve almost been down there before…

I think I got tired of it eventually and when I began working and getting my own money I thought “I work too hard not treat myself every so often”. I explained it to my parents as it is no different than books and that there are many different types and genres. I think when parents think of anime as this awful inappropriate thing when just like books and movies there are different age ratings on them.
