They spiced up the show. After I watched the first 2 Seasons I noticed that, as the show went on without Storm, Rocco, Nick and Katie; and took on the Spectra's

Instead of pairing up Sally with Clarke, too bad they couldn’t find someone who truly fell in love with her. Instead they have her look desperate for attention from a much younger attractive man. Someone she had to entice with offers of advancing his career. She deserved to be romanced by a man truly in love with her.

That is true but I truly think even though Clarke was not in love I love with Sally I do think grew to He love and care for her in some form even after they divorced I coukd see he had a love and a affection as a deep. Close friend and he was a loyal friend .

Up till now, I liked Sally's story line, why did they had to make her so desperate?
They wrote a lot of the women on this show to be desperate. Stephanie, Brooke, Caroline, Margo.

Poor Sally, so desperate for Clarke that she's willing to ignore/pretend that the screamingly obvious warning signs that he doesn't want her don't exist. And old Clarke looked like he wanted to vomit when Sal said her affections would be "frequent and fervent", and again when he had to "propose" 😆😆

No wonder I gave up on this show. Nearly every woman on this show is begging a man to love her. Only Margo and Caroline aren't on the "please love me" parade but they've had to do their time, too. Seeing Sally and Stephanie grovel is not entertaining.

I don't understand why the show was written where the women would go after egotistical men like Ridge and Clarke. Ridge had Carolina and Brooke fighting over him and then Brooke and Taylor. Clarke had Kristen and Margo fighting over him. It seems like the more egotistical the characters are, the more the women are written to want them. In real life, their egos would be a major turn off. Does the Forresters have a photo of Brooke in a bikini in their photo album or is that Eric's personal photo album?

@@deesee3622 exactly. At no point did Clarke ever give her a hint that he felt something for her other than a business relationship. She pursued him and dangled in front of him the one thing she knew would entice him. She also knew he was very much in love with his wife who just divorced him.

I’d say he felt some attraction to Stephanie. He obviously really loved Kristen. But there is absolutely NO attraction for him for Sally. He has nothing left now that Kristen divorced him. He then tried to see if he could have something with Margot so they could raise their son together, that was a no go. So now he is going for his own line. With Margot at least he had some sexual attraction. There is zilch with Sally. How she could act insulted when he implied at first he didn’t want that with her, is beyond me. I mean she offered him this arrangement knowing that she would entice him by offering him his own label.
