A bit unrelated to this content of yours. I just saw your post in LE forum about your extensive testing about Synchronized Strike and the Foreshadowing effect node. I applaud you for documenting that kind of detail. Saves me time to test it out. My question would be, have you tested if nodes related to increasing Shadow damage also affect Shadow Dagger damage? Another inquiry, some Bladedancers seem to make their build around pumping Shadow Cascade. Upon testing, Shadow Cascade's direct damage (even if together with 4 Shadows from S.Strike) seems to be awful compared to the damage done by Shadow Daggers. Can you back this up? I've seen those Bladedancers via livestream but I just can't figure out if their 'big' damage comes from Shadow Cascade or Shadow Daggers, despite having their gears and skills lean towards Shadow Cascade.
hey, thanks for the words. I havent tested it with shadow dagger, but my take is that it should work, the shadow dagger will inherit the shadow damage, but as you might know, its chance from shadow casts is only 20% (against 100% from other casts , and I guess 60% from umbral blade since the nerf) it means skills tha comes from shadows have a much less chance to proc shadow daggers. Shadow Cascade can work (without shadow dagger), in the past it was a less dps build but as shadow dagger got some nerfs in some patches, it might be even now. Shadow Cascade damage was never outstanding, but with the correct setups people used to go over 1k corruption with it, and it is awesome clear speed. Boss damage was were it suffered.From what I remember people heavily invested in either shadow damage or leveraged momentum node (increased damage per melee attack speed).
still soon to tell that. But I think it will be better, more damage, and with the dagger+shield better defenses. Falconer overall is a much more polished class.
it increases dps (damage) drastically. There is a node in acid flask that is generally ignored by some streamers, it gives poison penetration per poison resistance. What the tooltip does not say is that when you convert acid flask to cold or fire, the penetration is also converted to it's respective damage/ resistance.
@@dawgyqq3264 as falconer I don't have a solid reason to change to low life. As Bladedancer we have damage reduction and free crit multiplier at least, even after the huge nerf it still can perform well Falconer has solid defense with HP and the eleacon body armour synergize well with all our setup. I'm still figuring out how the endgame setup will be, I want to go with bow as long as I can endure, it's very cool. I'll change to dagger + shield only after I min/max my bow, and only then I'll do some more detailed tests to my defenses in higher corruption. This won't matter that much doing around 1500 corruption, I think both setup are fine.
@@dawgyqq3264 imo never. Glancing blow is too strong and you have so many support for it as falconer. You would want to have both block chance and glancing blow for a very high corruption. But if you are not pushing corruption very high just block and doge or armor should work
