Quick question, does your dr-60dmkii freeze up on you at all? I was at a wedding this past weekend were I was connected to the speaker with an XLR and when I came back to it after the reception speeches, none of the buttons were working... even when i took it off hold. Just checked my SD card and none of my files were corrupted, but it definitely gave me a heart attack in the moment. Just curious if you have every experienced this! Love the videos man, thanks for all the info.

Christopher Hopkins never had that problem. Did the audio peak too hard. If your levels are up way too high it will peak and stop recording. It’s only happened once when I was plugged into bad quality speakers with a 1/4 inch. Usually this is my best form of audio, but I put a mic stand and lav that and I lav the speaker. The lav on the mic stand produces good audio as well.

Thanks for the advice. I had my backups, but the dr-60 is my main recorder. I was just confused and looking to see if anyone else had the same issues. lol.

Christopher Hopkins no problem. Ya I always forget to turn it off so I’ll end up with 2 hours of audio after the speeches and always works great.
