I did a low fade yesterday. I honestly wasn't looking forward to doing this cut after realizing the clients hair type and the fact there was no bulk to create my own guidelines. As always, I asked God to Bless my hands and mind when starting my day. I went about it a lil different by creating a low bald guideline .... I trusted the process and successfully completed the cut and it was amazing!

It’s crazy how I see other barbers do this same cut and it end up looking like a bowl cut. But when you do it, it’s always a very smooth transition with the blend. Awesome job as usual sir. 💪🏾💈

Emil Thebarber sorry for the late reply bro but I started with literally this Wahl kit that came with clippers and trimmers and no half guards that I got at cvs for about $50 😂 but I eventually saved enough to buy some magic clips and slime lines on Facebook market for $140 both!

Honestly this is one of the greatest drop fade I have seen on wavy hair but with this kind and quality of fade I think it is just sad to ask for a line like your client did ahahahaha... don't get me wrong it looks good but I would be 100 times better to not have this line on the left side but that is only my humble opinion. I have been a barber for nearly ten years now but I always watch some of your videos, there is always something to learn. Thanks for the good work and please keep on going. Hope that we will have some good barbers in the next years here in Switzerland 🇨🇭

Nice. Most other barbers cannot do the low fade, they always end up push the fade higher then you end up with a high fade. Why is it so hard?
Because most barbers use guidelines , but it’s extremely difficult to blend in such a small space. That’s why he’s blending down and stacking guards in this video. This is truly some real expert level shit. Believe me, this is not an easy haircut. Even great barbers struggle with this type of low fade.
Can confirm always asked for this cut by showing pictures but every barber would just buzz off the sides and fade the whole thing and it would always grow out ugly
My original barber did this masterfully .. then he changed up and would give me something diff every time. Sucked.
YOOOOOO I THOUGHT I was the only one!!! I didn't know many other people suffer with the same problem!!! I always ask for a low fade, because of the specific shape of my head and whatnot and low fade just looks better on me. for some reason, NO matter which barber I switch too, they all push the fade so much higher. I'm like , why?? was t first, I thought it was just my barber, that he just wasn't a good capable barber, so I tried to switch barbers to see a different result. but, it was sti the same. then I went to ANOTHER barber, hoping they could give me the cut I want, but nope, still fade it into a high fade. I'm like wtf??????? now I know it's not just me!!!! why is it sooo hard???
Another thing I notice is the cut is kinda close to what I want (the cht in this video) and then they take the scissors and cut the length off the sides and I’m like noooooooo 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️

The funny thing about skin fades is that a Guy named stepfhon made it up about 40 years ago he was 17 years old. People used to lol at him, then his friends started to take notice of it and ask for it. also he made up the timborlands boots with shorts and outfits at that time. People used to lol at him for wearing boots with shorts in the hood next thing you know people was wearing them all over the place he used to wear TIms in nightclubs etc also. Man that boy stepfhon was cool AF. Now you see his work all over the place and he never got any credit for starting it SMDH. To my boy Stepfhon thanks Bro!!
