This is such a cool concept for a music video and it is so fitting for the song despite not being made for it. More artists should do music videos like this

@@archiewall124 yeah I get that but he could've put sorry4dying later on in the album, but I get it works really well as an intro track, it's just annoying the chronology is mixed up
This album helped realize that death is such a larger than life concept. The fact that death has good and bad aspects helps ease the fact that it is going to happen. The possible loneliness and the possible reflection opened the door into a new part of my life
nah this album got me shivering my timbers fr like when death hits me you could be dealing with the post-mortem dread of being alive for like, ever, as in for all eternity, forced to spectate. if post-mortem experiences are real, it would be extremely traumatic. imagine not being able to feel yourself breathe, because you no longer have lungs, or you can't eat or drink, nothing you touch really connects, nobody can hear you. this album got me fucked up for real.

@@questofdumbvr1318 I’ve never felt like I was in a completely different realm just from listening to music. Until I listened to this album. The emotion and the passion that Quadeca gives out in this album goes to show the effort that was put in. Dare I say it this might be one of the greatest albums of all time. If only more people listened to his music they could understand the greatness. I apologize for this rant but that’s where my head is at right now.
The video is sad. Especially the moon guy who was like a lost soul, and wandered into the ocean to be forgotten. The kid with blonde hair looks like someone who is innocent and curious that is going through life, facing adversity but never losing his curiosity towards life
Yo quad I just wanna say how much of an inspiration you are and how this album just proves your improvement, not just as a rapper now, but as a whole artist, producer, etc. We’ve seen you grow from diss tracks to making tracks like this, which is just crazy bruh. It’s crazy how far you’ve come bro. Honestly, I hope that you would continue to keep rapping and all that cuz that’s what inspired me the most, but if you continue to take this approach within your career, I 100% respect it man because it’s fr one HUGE step from tracks from Voice Memos and previous projects. With this level of production, I hope to see you get big big! All love bro ❤️

this goes perfectly and the fact you said you found it and it’s like what you had in your head is almost like fate that this album was on the best beats, melodies, and lyrics out there. i love that you do your own thing ❤️
Hey Quadeca! I noticed in the description you put the name of the original cartoon in russian! Since it's a latvian cartoon, could you please update it to the actual title in latvian: "Sēd uz sliekšņa pasaciņa (1987)"
i love this so much... i hope ill be able to make an album this emotionally resonant someday. im in love with this animation, it's the perfect level of abstract
love this. fits with the whole out of this world/different reality sound and vibe of the album. captures the intro in a great way that I'm not sure a normal music video could.
The fact that you went ahead and edited animation clips to your own song is insane. Only you can do justice to your own song. Each clip perfectly matches the theme i love it
at this point in my life i just want to be able to sit down and listen to something like this for hours, so much is going on i wish i could just escape it all
It's crazy how well this animation fits the song and the themes of the whole album. Great find by Quadeca, reaching into the 1980s latvian animation bag haha

bro, when i saw this on your IG i thought “wow this looks like the soviet times animation that we had in Latvia” there’s absolutely no way it actually is. Love the album too
This animation reminds me of the Soviet Russian cartoons I used to watch when I was a kid, they were older ones from the 60s-80s, and those cartoons were exactly like this, super dreamy and esoteric, light hearted and a strong message at its core to teach from the visual storytelling. It’s clear this cartoon inspired Quad a lot for the album and this song, really solidifies the nostalgiacore sound he’s been going for.
This is Latvian cartoon from 1987, from animation studio Dauka: "Sēd uz sliekšņa pasaciņa", director Roze Stiebra, animators Dzintra Aulmane and Maija Brence. I recommend to watch also other cartoons from this animation studio and these artists, for example "Pasaciņas" series, "Zaķīša pirtiņa" or "Zelta sietiņš".
This video feels weirdly nostalgic despite never having seen it before, undoubtedly a testament to the animators involved
And a testament to Quad!
Is my music ok?
probably cause the animation is like 30 years old lol
