Epic! These vids are something else. I went down a coal mine here in the UK. It's now a heritage museum, sadly. Quite an experience! The deepest coal mine here in the UK was Parsonage Colliery in Lancashire, North West England at 3024 ft. Closing the "pits" as we called them here in the UK was a BIG mistake for so many reasons. Here, we're sitting on vast reserves of high quality coal but we're importing it now from Poland and Kazakhstan in Central Asia! How crazy is that. We used to a very large coal mining industry here until the 1980's. U S. coal miners stood in solidarity with British miners in the big strike against pit closures 1984-1985. It was long time ago but the solidarity and support was hugely appreciated and certainly not forgotten. Thankyou.

Brings back so many memories. I started in 1981 and was timber man on pillar crew. I would give anything to go back and experience it one more time

I worked underground for years in southwest pa. Big longwall mines. I loved mining, but got fed up with it. Mainly the workforce got so bad I couldn't take it. To many followers and not enough leaders. I was also sick of rotating shifts every week. I miss it but I'm much Metter off now.

tell that miner man to stop dry chaining, he should have enough coal on the ground and in his pan to have you loaded in 40 seconds!

Probably no problem taking pictures and videos. You wouldn't get a signal to make a call. My opinion

You seem to not be nervous at all. Guess they have structural support figured out nowadays, but how often, and what causes the cave ins?
