In the Shadow of Wind Rock Mountain, Oliver Springs, Tennessee

I took these photographs of neighboring Oliver Springs last spring. Oliver Springs is a charming, small town at the foot of Wind Rock Mountain. Oliver Springs straddles three East Tennessee Counties: Anderson, Roane and Morgan.
The October Sky Festival, a celebration with crafts, food and fun, is scheduled for this coming Saturday, October 22nd. It's called the October Sky Festival because the movie of the same name was filmed in Oliver Springs a few years back.
