I'm crying at what a DESECRATION is being made, by zionist murderers in Gaza, West Bank, Lebanon and other places. To me, that makes music, such as this, really sound hollow. I just saw footage, posted by the Israeli soldiers, themselves, of themselves ransacking a Lebanese woman's home and playing stupid tunes on her grand piano. The lady (whom Israelis have forcibly evicted from her home) saw the footage, online, and posted her own video - she had played the theme concerto from a well known film about the WWII Holocaust, on that piano. Israel has spent 76+ years causing such harm, that, to me, this music suffers, due to it's association with evil acts.

Long ago, while in school, our music was mostly, but not exclusively, Christian in nature. I clearly remember our 7th & 8th grade ladies choir singing Hava Nagila during the mid 1960’s. It means Let Us Rejoice. It’s a great song with a great meaning. A few years later my high school choir performed De Profundis in Hebrew. It was challenging, but meaningful. Music can and does bring people together.
I STILL remember singing "Prayer Before Sleep" from "The Talmud Suite" in High School. I lived in an area with a decent Jewish population, and our teacher got a recording in Hebrew to help us learn proper pronunciation. The same year, we also sang "Bo Ree Baht", in Korean, and a song I can't remember now, that was in an African language that has clicks and pops in it. (High School was almost 30 years ago - I guess you just can't remember everything!) Getting to sing in someone else's language is SO COOL!
