I feel great satisfaction every time I watch your videos. I learn a lot. I really would not have money to pay all your good teachings. I am deeply happy and grateful to you. God bless you.
what i've learnt so far: 1. color pallete arrangement like rainbow colors, 2. water use for lightening the color and clean the brush, 3. use big brush, 4. various brush tip shapes, angle and pressures to get the shape that we want, 5. big and small stroke for perspectives, 6. different color for shade for example use blue for grass in the background and use green on top of it after it dry, or light green as background and dark green on the top. Bonus: more Japanese vocabulary \( ' \/ ' )/
Hello, I'm from Russia and we used pen and ink but we don't use it now. And I wanted to say that this video very cute ^~^ and interesting, BIG THANK YOU, I LIKE YOUR VIDEO 💜💜💜 sorry my bad english >
Thank you very much for this tutorial! Your friendly, gentle way of explaining things reminds me of a beloved individual here in the United States who produced programming on television for children - his name is Fred Rogers. His show was called "Mr. Rogers Neighborhood". I watched him often as a child and I believe I will be watching you often as an adult on my watercolor journey. Thank you.
Thanks sir. I am from India. I have just started waterpainting. I am following your videos. This biginners series really helped me a lot. This is really a great medium and you have made it so easy for the learners. I wish I were in Japan and take regular classes from you.👍👌🙏
Thank you. It’s one thing to watch you do it, and another thing to see it on your own paper after following your advice. Thanks. Now I just need a larger and better brush, I only have a size 5 round brush.
Thank you mr. Shibasaki for your impressive videos, i was depressed and think i could not paint with watercolor, but now i will practice.. You are a good teacher.. Love from Egypt
Hi Mr Shibasaki, Thank you so much for sharing your artistic skill. Its a great help to me especially your skill of controlling brushes to achieve a more attractive painting. Look forward to more video from you and with English Subtitles. Hope I am not asking to much. Once again my sincere thanks to you,
Hi Mr. Shibasaki, I’ve been taking a watercolor painting class in my community and have learned a lot, but I always come back to your videos. This one teaching about using the #20 brush for grass (and other things) is excellent! Thank you for all you share with your viewers!!
I've been watching several of your tutorials for a few days and I really appreciate the examples you make at the end of each lesson. It really helps to solidify the lesson. Thank you for such a wonderful and informative channel!
@Nikhil Harshwardhan Shibasaki-sensei’s recommendation is a big round brush(size No.20 round brush for F6 paper) for watercolor. And he recommends us(beginners) *using* *one* until we’ve really learned to control it. It may take some time to master. As always, practice is the key. “Try different strokes, over and over, until you get the feel of it.”😄
People here in the U.K. mostly use ball point pens(biros), but I use a fountain pen. I was taught a school many many years ago firstly to use a dip pen with ink from an ink well. We used to have an ink monitor whose job it was to fill up the ink wells. We then shifted to fountain pens, and they are still my favourite writing tool. You can even get fude nibs and brush pens that work like a fountain pen. Then with a fountain pen there are so many wonderful ink colours to choose from. The biggest supplier here in U.K. is Diamine inks and I believe in Japan it's Pilot Iroshizuku that have the widest ink range. Yama Budo by Pilot is a fabulous colour.
I‘m painting along with this series and love the demos at the end! The house in the last clip was neat, but this scene with grasses & water felt like a real first painting to me :))) Domo arigato, Mr. Shibasaki!
Hello, Shibasaki sensei! 😊 Amazing work as always, thank you very much for the informative lesson!! 💜 Truly, I am more than thankful to have found your channel 😍 I love that you teach simply, and then always make artworks about the lesson in the end. You awakened the artist in me again!! It's rare for an artist to awaken my sleeping creative soul, you're only the 2nd one of all the thousand vids I've found here in yt!! With that, I'm BEYOND GRATEFUL. Shine on, Sir!! May your days shine brighter!!! 💖✨✨✨✨✨
I don't ever need ASMR again. Shibasaki-San's voice is very soothing and well-paced, and the painting gives delight! Subscribed!!
Lol
The Bob Ross of watercolor. So soothing

Thank you very much Teacher for your tutorial and for sharing your teachings with everyone. Receive a warm affection from Spain.
動画見ている間ずっと「凄!」「やばっ」なんて連呼してました(笑) いつもの太くて青い柄の筆大活躍ですね~! 草の明暗入れた辺りからそれだけで一つの作品にみえてしまいました

Hi Shibasaki, it's very interesting to learn how to use just an 'instrument' in many ways. Then, the most important thing is...practice!
