Hi dom! could you make a video with explaining G2 chances at worlds? what do they lack? how far behind east they are and why is that? What can they excel at to cheese some wins? I think this would hype us western fans a lot before worlds
Well the early game isn't top tier, Jankos isn't the best jungler in the world anymore, their botlane is good, but on a world stage good or even great isn't going to cut it, you need excellence. It's a great team for sure and they are better than the sum of their parts, but VS China and Korea I don't think great is good enough.
bot lane has been excelling at easy bit lanes like sera senna or senna anything really but its not meta for a reason them playing to their maximum with senna tahm or whatever they want is going to get beat by lucian nami or zeri/sivir yuumi the eastern bot lanes are on another level they will get exposed their in particular caps jankos is a decent western mid jgl but into something like xiouhu and xlb its just going to get ran over
what i dont get, is at 3:17 Larsen has flash, sees caps jumping on him and Jankos near with targarmas coming up and STILL he cant flash the azir combo. Hes suppose to be a pro player yet they all save flash, die with flash and then waste it after
i mean he probably somehow thought i have seju on my side and lulu is coming (he didnt see senna) + i have stopwatch. Unlucky jarvan had also e q combo up.
I feel that G2 is the kryptonite of RGE, they always lose to them, it's like, RGE could stomp all the team, but against G2, they just forget how to play. G2 currently is very good, regardless, hoped a better series

I just expect G2 to not get stomped and I am hoping even if they don’t make semis they can show a good game in quaters

Azir r is also super hard to flash, use it too early and you get pulled anyway
