This song just hits you different! When you once walked closely…having a relationship with God while being led by His spirit and then you trade it in! Exchanging it for legalism, men pleasing, and the mechanics of worship (instead of pure worship from the heart) It all became a religious performance! After years of this you look up only to realize that you are completely empty. Your mind began to retrospect when you first gave your heart to Christ and the simplicity of it all and the joy and liberty that you felt….PRICELESS!!! The countless hours you spent in God’s presence…it wasn’t forced because you wanted to be there…wanting to have 101 time with God! In that place you realized God wasn’t complicated and dying to yourself , choosing to do things His way, and allowing Him to transform your mind to line up with His will became easier because you knew He authentically love you and have your best interest! Then you fell from His Grace into a performance base lifestyle and now everything on the inside of you is saying Oh God, “Take Me Back” to the place where I first believed and placed my trust in you! I had a daughter murdered stabbed 26 times 5 years ago shes been dead shook my whole mental state of mind and left me powerless. I'm crawling back to God. I had got so angry at God but I came back and oh when I heard this song I said this song was made for me. My daughter was brutally murdered i pray for my mental state all thee time. People at my job have ridiculed me and talked very bad about me saying I talk about my daughter to much but I dont care no more I have to talk about it to keep me from going crazy. Lift my my mental state of mind in prayer. Ever since my daughter was murdered the enemy attacks me heavy. I was in foster homes as a kid then adopted abused and on streets at 17 left with no family so it hit me real hard when my daughter was murdered.
