Nice work Mike👍 I like a busy garage 😎
Have a good weekend mate 🏁
Dude.. I can't wait to see how the Impreza handles now! Still up servicing diffs but I'm on the last one for the Datsun. They both got 20k front and 10k rear 🤜🤛 You as well!
Appreciate the update. I think you’re going to hit that 100 once that battery arrives. Really looking forward to that Rlaarlo build. SUbi looking good too, and bro your cat looks just like mine. Have a great weekend ✌🏼
Hehe, that's what's up! Doing the diffs now so should be a fresh run up tomorrow. I think these tires are gonna be good too. Enjoy that Socal weather my friend! It's stinkin' hot over here lol
Awesome man good luck, good luck on that Rlaarlo too! Happy racing my friend
Thanks brother! I'm really curious to see how the Subi handles after service and new wheels. Have fun out there!
Nice update bro! I am curious to see what the changes will bring! 👊
Thanks! I spent some considerable time sifting through yours and a few others builds to see what's what. Thank you again for telling me about the gearing.. major help!
Nice, I think I will have to check my difs, too.
I changed my tires to the Pirelli (clones). I like them more on sand, gravel and tarmac than the rally blocks. Injora has them for around 10$ including 4 tires and rims - they come not glued.
They are also a bit smaller and rub less than the block tires.
Right on.. I'll have to check those out 👀👍 always nice to have options 😀
That's right, I also have a variation of tires. However I use the Pirelli as allrounders, with the original Kyosho rims btw.
Nice update mate!
That tto2 is a work in progress, keep tweeking..... you will eventually hit your target.
The higher C rating on that new lipo should certainly help.
Watching this as I work on my Fazer which is in a bad way!
I had to remove all of the brake calipers on mine many moons ago due to the stones jamming up inside the wheels as you mentioned.
I've also had them jamming up the motor fan and steering.
Those rally block tires look sweet, even if they don't smell as good as a fresh set of Tamiyas! 😂
These cars seriously eat tires at an alarming rate!
Just replaced my prop shaft cups with alloy hop ups as the plastic ones had melted to the spur shaft and spur bearing! 😬
I've also had to replace the bearings, and drill out many of the hex screws that had stripped.
There's a lot of wear related slop in much of the chassis, steering and suspension now..... much as I love the Fazer, it's build quality is a far cry from their legendary series of vintage kyosho buggies.... but obviously it's a low end budget friendly platform so unfair to really compare it to the likes of the Optima Turbo, Mid etc.
Cheers for the tip on the shock positions to reduce oversteer, I'm definitely going to try that once I've got the car back together!
Enjoyable video matey. 😊
👍 👍 👍
Yessir! I haven't put that much wear on my cars yet to see these issues, so it's good to know what to look out for in the future! I actually forgot to mention the aluminum prop shaft in the video, which I tried to install, but it's way too loose with the plastic cups.. so yeah another upgrade to go for. I see the wear and slop in the steering comes from that one pivot joint that attaches to the servo arm, so I'd assume it's a cheap fix.. but I'm not defending the quality by any means. The spider gear thing was really surprising, but I get it.. cost cutting stuff they do to make the RTR more affordable. As for the rally block wheels and any new aftermarket wheel, fitting was tricky. Super soft compound though. They fit nice, but I had to trim down the outer side walls to prevent rubbing and drill some drain holes for water. Also had to dab some crazy glue on a few spots as the bead was loose but not separated in some spots. RRC Rally and Trail was also saying that they sometimes have too much grip and need trimming, so hopefully it works out to have the right amount of slip and grip in the gravel. Test run will be tomorrow morning, so the video should be up soon! I think she's gonna handle that gravel track much better this time

Look forward to seeing how the tires perform fella.
It's hard getting that right balance of grip, slide and durability.
👍 👍 👍 😊
I got a stoned wheel on my 2nd Fazer Rally drive so got rid of the calipers and then got the upgrade hubs and now the discs are gone too.
Nice! Thankfully, I haven't had any issues with the discs, but those upgraded hubs are much more open 👍
@scaleworksRC Yup, less chance of getting something caught in there which is all too easy.
Nice update brother! My tt-02 is fighting me bad! It just hates going straight!😫
Have you set your front toe out? I would go through all the wheels first and give them a wiggle, see if they need re-shimming and set your front toe to 38mm. 40mm is stock, so that will give you some cushion for the car to fight itself. Hope that helps brother.. sooo many factors! 🤯😁
@@scaleworksRC well… I tried…. But it was binding real bad…. Had to switch back to stock tie rods… probably going to have to order some new steering parts!😖🤜🤛
@@Rcprescription Oh yeah, the stock arms are probably zero toe. At least the adjustable ones are cheap, but I feel ya on the pain. I had to buy 2 sets after snapping one of the ball ends trying to put it in 😁 oh the joys..
I am really curious what kind of speed difference you get with that CNHL LIPO. I have never run that one..... pretty beefy. I think it will for sure give you a few more mph. Looking forward to the next run!
Yessir, it's not the 150c one you used but Amazon has the best prices and times so I went with that one. I was actually almost about to buy a SMC 7900 at the hobby shop before this, but that thing is like $90 ..slightly out of my budget range at the moment 😁 This one should give better results than my current pack after you explained how mah works with speed running. Thanks again brother!
I know your gonna get 100mph 👍 you make me wanna try to hit 100mph. Maybe I'll give it a shot
Well, it can be done.. but it's a real challenge with a TT02 getting the car to handle and stop parachuting. Lots of modding, cutting, shimming, and hair pulling involved. I honestly thought it would be easier, but it's been a rewarding and sometimes frustrating process. Go for it! But, if you want something that you can point at and say "that thing does 100mph" I'd go with a more suitable platform Thanks again for the stickers! They look good on the 917 😎✝
@scaleworksRC I was thinking about trying it with my arrma infraction 3s blx. Thanks for adding the stickers 👍
@@RevelationRC Solid choice, brother! Go get that dollar!
Don't need to do anything with diffs, add a gyro! My Fazer handles 100 times better after adding the gyro. You can pick them up cheap on Amazon all day, work smarter not harder 💯
See the next video😀drives great now but thanks for the tip👍
