I broke my arm when I was in middle school, none of the teachers believed me until one of my friends literally begged them to believe me. They called an ambulance and it cost my parents a couple grand. Then the hospital I went to gave me (10yr old) the adult amount of painkillers (morphine?) and then they had to call ANOTHER ambulance to take me to a children’s hospital
