Speaking as an ex AOT worker, it is such a shame that services across the country have been closed. It is inspiring that some of them have remained open throughout the country. Not only do they promote a better existence for the client/family, given rewarding times to the staff that have had the privelige of working with them but also saved the NHS funds in not having the caseloads in hospitals languishing because they do not meet the needs to the community mental health services.
