    Great seeing the Northeaster dory sailing, looks like it is ripping along. Just bought the plans, building one this winter.

      Good luck, we found the hull came together pretty fast, but then the finishing work took much longer than anticipated. But overall, it wasn't so long, and it's a great boat to have when you're done.

    It’s good to see another owner of Northeaster Dory enjoying her under sail. 👍 I noticed you don’t use any floatation under the seats. Have you ever capsized her?

      Never capsized thus far, always intended to add the floatation eventually. I'm never far from shore at the moment.

    Great video! Love my NED. What rudder do you have on there? Stock or kick up? I was thinking of doing the conversion this winter.

      Stock, but I wish it was kickup. Although now I find I just leave it in all the time and lash the tiller extension when rowing.
