對於初到英國的香港人來說，剪頭髮是一大挑戰，因為在香港剪頭髮無需使用英語跟髮型師溝通，而香港的英語課程往往忽略有關方面的英語教學，所以今日 TYE 要教授這方面的實用英語。
髮型師 hairdresser、stylist、hairstylist (為男士、女士服務)
⚠️ 專為男士剪髮的髮型師 barber
髮型屋 hair salon (為男士、女士服務)
男士髮型屋 barber shop、the barber’s
剪頭法 haircut、cut
修髮 trim
洗剪吹 wash, cut and blow-dry
乾剪 dry cut、dry trim
濕剪 wet cut、wet trim
用布抹乾 towel dry
偷薄 thinning
剪得長短不齊 layering
挑染頭髮 highlight
接髮 hair extensions
染髮 colouring、dying
漂髮 bleaching
燙髮 perm
直髮 straight perm
分界 parting
中間分界 middle parting、centre parting
側邊分界 side parting
髮型師一般會用到以下工具：
剪刀 scissors
鏟刀 clippers
修建刀 trimmers
剃刀 razor
在英國剪頭髮雖然可以 walk-in，但一般會先預約，你可以打電話去髮型屋。以下是模擬對話：
You: Hello there, I was wondering if I might be able to book a haircut?
Stylist: Certainly sir, when were you thinking.
You: Tomorrow evening would be ideal / great.
Stylist: Is 5:30 okay?
You: Yup, that’d be good / great.
Walk-in 模擬對話：
You: Excuse me sir, I was wondering if I might be able to get my hair cut now.
Stylist: Certainly madam, please take a seat.
You: How long am I going to have to wait for?
Stylist: You’ll be served very soon

I’d like to keep most of the volume on top. 保留頭頂頭髮長度
I’d like a messy out of bed look. (e.g. Boris Johnson 髮型)
Do you have any wax to style my hair with? 用髮蠟定型
Do you mind tidying up the hair at the back as well? 修剪髮腳
Please also shave the sideburns. 剃的水
I would like to have layered ends. 髮尾剪碎
I would like it short and spiky. 要短尖髮型
剪髮期間可以跟髮型師進行 small talk，例如：
Have you worked here for long?
I really like what you have done with my fringe.
Beautiful day, isn’t it?
It looks like it’s going to snow / rain.
Small talk 只能問簡單問題，切忌問得過分深入：
❌ Are you married?
❌ How much can you make in a week?
❌ Where do you live?
在髮型屋，髮型師準備為你剪頭髮，會問你：
What can I do for you? 有咩可以幫到你?
How do you want it to be cut? 想點剪?
How much would you like off? 要剪幾多?
你可以說：

I’d like to get some point cutting. 剪碎髮尾
I'd like to have layered ends. 剪碎髮尾
I’d like a blunt cut. 剪平髮尾
I’d like to have just a couple of inches off. 剪短幾串

Please layer my fringe. 前額髮陰剪碎

暫時無用wifi蛋，但有用電話做hotspot 。
大部分台都有5G
@@longhairkitten 都係要去返個台既網站check coverage.
以我用緊既3UK為例. 我住緊果棟有好既3/4/5G連接, 想睇有咩上網plan佢都直接叫我裝5G蛋.
不過對面棟樓就只係得3/4G既室外coverage. 所以我去對面超市買嘢係no signal既... 🤣🤣🤣
