Haha! Sorry I can't take credit for that. That was the wedding coordinator's idea. I think there's a clip in there where you can see her putting those out.
The QR Code is for guest requests if it's convenient to send them that way, or they can just come up and tell me. I usually DJ the the cocktail hour but this time it was in a house a distance away from the main reception setup tent, and there was no room for a setup inside as it was lots of small divided rooms. That means no good places to get to cover the cocktail hour, so I put an Everse 12 in the best available corner and let it go.
Nice gig log! I like your set up. Question, do you get a lot of ppl using the QR code for request? I also have a qr code for it but I noticed that guest love to come to the booth and asked for songs. I don’t mind it but with the qr code i have it registered and most likely wont forget about it lol
Hey it really depends. It's used A LOT or not at all. For events where the guests pick it up, I may get 20 requests through it. At other events, guests don't use it and just come up to me. I think people find it cool and appreciate it for the novelty of messaging me that way.
Flowers on your Subs is a perfect way to minimize drinks on your speakers. Was that your idea?

Nice setup. RCF has great sound. Just two things. First,"QR" code for what? Second, why did you not DJ cocktail hour?

@@bigtimeeventsdj We put up a highboy with a request sheet on it. If we did QR, I would still do the same; setup a highboy with the QR code on it.
