Yesterday I was taking a math exam and out of nowhere I remembered Jack's death scene in Titanic and teared up and had a really hard time concentrating on the exam for a good 10 minutes. The funny thing is that even though I've known who Leo is basically my whole life and watched Titanic about 8 years ago (when I was 8 years old, I'm 16 now), I never really thought much of him until I watched The Wolf of Wall Street 3 weeks ago and fell in love with him as an actor, and later as a person as I watched a bunch of his interviews. I've watched 8 other movies of his since then and I'm on a mission to watch every single movie he's ever done. Not only is he a gorgeous human being and a very talented actor, he's also very well spoken and intelligent, and chooses unique movies he truly believes in. He respects and loves his job so much! He puts a lot of effort into understanding the characters he's portraying, and intentionally doesn't reveal a lot about himself so he can be believable playing any role, which to me is pretty mindblowing. He really makes acting seem like an art. An to top it all off he's a dedicated environmentalist. Yes, he has his flaws but nobody's perfect. I have developed so much love and respect for this guy in just a few weeks. Love him.

Wow...I thought maybe this would be cheesy or just bad, but it actually got me all teared up...it is so moving really. For me my love is always more with the music. However, Leonardo is,,for me, the same equivalent with his acting talent on film to an amazing song/band or beautiful piece of music. He sometimes doesn't even have to say a word, you can just feel it through his gorgeous eyes and see it all over his face. I also have such an emotional connection to him and his work because I became obsessed and smitten by him all the way back when Titanic came out when I was 12 (me and every other girl I knew) and I grew up with his work and got to see him evolve and become an even better actor over time, even though he was already amazing from the beginning.
