Oh plus, it's a Petrie dish of fungus and mold and mosquitos
I lived next door to what turned out to be an unlicensed cremation business and the smoke from the bodies was thick and creeped in the windows and no one cared, the gasoline was florescent and I had to drain my tank several times because they don't regulate fuel/ gas and I had the worst food poisoning from a dirty slushy machine at a gas station and the one day I went to the beach it was covered in dead and dying jellyfish to the point it was on the news and apparently something no one could remember happening before. This was only 2018/19 or so.
It rained until you felt like everyone must have swamp ass and then it was so dry everything wanted to dry rot and that is the cycle....
I haven't gone back or considered visiting again .

A Florida mayor issued a stark warning that residents will die if they don’t evacuate as Hurricane Milton races towards the state’s west coast.
The potential “once in a lifetime” storm rapidly intensified from a Category 1 to a Category 5 hurricane on Monday with sustained winds surpassing 180mph, before slowing to Category 4 on Tuesday.
The National Hurricane Center has warned that Milton may regain strength and grow in size, posing “even more danger” as it is expected to make landfall in Florida by Wednesday evening, slamming into the densely populated Tampa Bay.

We were warned 20 years ago to get serious about cooling the planet. Greed over common sense. Greed over safety.

Hi man I'm no expert here and this is going to sound stupid , but what if a tactical nuclear bomb is dropped on the storm , or even a MOAB , will the heat have any effect on the storm to slow it down ? I doubt it but it would be interesting to see the effect it would have with all that heat but that would require permission from all North American countries , and it probably won't have any effect

@@SonnyRick You should send this suggestion to Donald Trump, it sounds like something he would say.
Why don't we do something novel, like stop scorching earth?

Sending only good thoughts for the people in the path of this hurricane. I would evacuate and not rebuild. Move somewhere with less weather issues. It isn’t going to get better.

At this point, just close down the state and turn it into farm land ,,,that's crazy...

Maybe you should tell people that the classification system only counts wind, does not count storm surge waves, rainfall, flooding, and liquid mud. The NE Florida is supposed to get a lot of rain and flooding. To be safe looks like you need to be right out of state or at least the very far NW corner.
