2022-23 Upper Deck Extended Series Hockey Checklist Overview
At the core of Extended Series is the base set. Starting at #501, it adds another 250 cards bringing the full flagship checklist up to #750. This includes another 30 Young Guns Rookie Cards. 1st Round Rookies is a new subset. These 20 cards highlight 2022-23 rookies who were taken among the top picks in their respective draft. Young Guns and 1st Round Rookies combine to land 1:4 packs or six per hobby box.

Parallels include some familiar names. These start with French, Clear Cut (1:192 hobby packs, Young Guns/1st Round Rookies - 1:288 packs), Exclusives (/100) and High Gloss (/10).
UD Canvas also continues with another large cards spread over four sections: Veterans (#271-360 - 1:8 hobby packs), Young Guns (#361-390, 1:48 packs), Legends (#391-405, 1:192 packs) and All-Star Weekend (1:192). Rare Black and White Variations, which are hobby exclusives, and Printing Plates are also available.
The colorful Dazzlers expands with another 50 cards as well. Blue fall 1:24 packs while Pink are 1:144. Green parallels are exclusive to blasters, landing 1:7 packs while fat packs are the only place to find Orange versions (1:12 packs).

that clear dominance card is an amazing pull from a retail blaster, and the reason why I love extended so much, even though no one else seems to like it lol. every year it's had interesting cards
That Ersson is also probably one of the best young guns in Extended. dude had a great year in Philly and almost got them to the playoffs.

You read my mind. I know mvp is the lowest end product but it sucks if you rely mostly on retail, you're going to end up with just duplicates of base cards. Let the kids have some fun and put some cool stuff in there! Brig back non-numbered colors and contours! They've already lowered the number of packs per blaster so why can't every pack have an insert?
Anyways, we can always dream lol
These blaster boxes are only $20 at a card shop about a half hour away from me. Definitely worth the drive for that price!

20-21 extended had all star cards, they're base value. Still, it's like a sub set
