Sorry to see your house like that, must have been some very strong winds.
They said 60mph bursts
You must be in mandarin area. I am too. Wild wild winds the other day. Stay safe
Lolololol.....the guy in the white ford just sittin there spinning his tires.....there's a good pun in there somewhere
Yep we tell them all the time do not spin do not spin then they do. We just bought radios so we can communicate so next time you'll see me yelling at them lol
I am very glad that you were away when the tree fell and that your family wasn't hurt or worse.
Yeah very thankful
They should have been home but the school wouldn’t release the kids because of the storm so they were running late
Love your work
I lived in Citrus County. We moved here in 2020. I cut down every pine tree that could reach our house.
That Ford looks brand new. True?
bummer about the house! but great recoverys.✌
Thanks and Thanks
Some of these people think because it says four by four on the side it'll go anywhere
Hi Matt... Couldn't sleep.. So I got up to watch another episode of "Exciting off Road Recovery" ... And found out that you have same neighbor as we have... A idiot with a dead tree... Captain Ron
Hopefully your neighbor has insurance that's his tree. I had a huge oak tree that stucks ans split it wide open. Which exposed that tree was rotting from the inside. I had a tree company out that week to cut it down so it didn't get my house or my 3 neighbors.
our insurance will cover it since it blew down in a storm, but already said if they feel that neglected to cut down a dying tree they can sue their insurance and get paid back. But that won't affect us at all
@@matt.mckinzie oh ya they will sue that's what they do.
You would think these companies knowing they will be working off road would better equip their vehicles. At least lift kits and bigger tires, maybe even lockers. Not on every truck but at least a few. With Amazon everyone already knows their to tight to even buy their own vehicles they rent them.
I think you should add scotch blocks to your merch section. Lol. I want some. Bummer about your house.
I can’t find them anywhere for a decent price I may have to start making them or somthing
Love it. 🙏❤️
Is that an electric keep
Damn man. So sorry about your house. 😞
12 months to move back in? Holy crap.
Yes possibly a total loss
@“Florida” Off Road Recovery Dang.
That's just a terrible situation for such a good family, hard working.
Hopefully the insurance takes good care of you.
Prayers for your family.
It amazes me that these people don't have friends/relatives to pull them out... It's not rocket science.. Here in western Pa, we would never call a stranger to pull us out of a mess...
In mud and muck like that you need the right tires or you will be just as stuck as the person you are trying to rescue.
I mean he called 2 friends and ended up with 3 trucks down and 10 hours of loss time when do you call it quits and pay the $250 for a pull out
@@matt.mckinzie Some of the places you go for recoveries, you about need a tracked vehicle.
@@RealJeep we have been thinking about it
What you running on the jeep 35s or 37s
37s now once the lift is installed we will go to 39s
Your Jeep sounds electric when in reverse
Gear reduction
But yes it does
We want to do an exhaust kit to make it sound like a truck
12 months is crazy, they could build a new house in that amount of time.
It’s a complete loss needs bulldozed and rebuilt
@@matt.mckinzie Hope your sorry neighbors have good insurance, they'll be buying you a new house.
@@matt.mckinzie Ouch. I didn't realize it was that bad. I hope you have a place to store your stuff while waiting on the rebuild.
What winch do you have?
Warn Zeon 10-s
Wow that does suck about your house Matt. 😐 Good video though.
Thanks, and ya but we will get threw it
I'm guessing you retired the bronco?
No I need to bring it back in the shop and finally put coil overs on it and 5.38 gears
I still cannot believe people take 4x4 trucks with street tires into places like that, I’d charge extra just because they’re stupid.
A truck that heavy does not belong out there
nope and they had 3
@@matt.mckinzie what is wrong with them
Terrible about your home! Your insurance may be able to go after the neighbor for leaving a dead tree upright.
Act of God. Good luck.
@@GetFuktPriusOwners Wasn't an act of God, was the neighbor's negligence harboring a known hazard.
@@RealJeep Yeah lawyers be lawyers. Insurance companies hire the best. Florida insurance companies fight everything. During hurricane they magically went bankrupt and payed no one.
To ease these comments, insurance will cover our house under storm damage, and sue their insurance for negligence. So we will get it fixed by our insurance, then our insurance will attest to get their money back. The big head insurance dude will be here tomorrow with inspectors
It would have been a lot easier for them if they had called you when the first truck got stuck.
And faster
I'll never understand what makes people think they can take a stock pickup, with stock tires, down a serious off road trail and think they'll do fine. 🙄
They do this daily as a job, most power lines have a road or trail, this one happens to be over grown. But they should have made a judgment call before driving out that far. But it's also deceiving. Top was dry with marsh under it
Hey Matt !!! Sorry to see your house destroyed by ""Ignorant "' Neighbors !!! Hope the Ins. Co. doesn't treat this as ""Act Of God "" to get out of paying for your house replacement !!🤔🙄🤥 Great recoveries even with the ""OOPS"" with the camera !!! 🙃🙂😊 Have a good week & Thanks again !!!! 👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
It does count as an act of god
They should cover it
But our ins may sue theirs
@@matt.mckinzie Yepper !!! $$$$ fighting $$$$$$ & You wait to see the outcome !!! 🤔
@offroadrecoveryFL if it was damadged by lightning, and the owner failed to do anything about it after being notified, its negligence. They and/or their insurance company should pay up.
