- A prosecution witness, Victor Onyejiuwa, in the ongoing trial of the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele narrated before the Lagos State Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja, how he was pressured to pay 600,000 dollars bribe for the award of a contract.

Was Emefiele swore to office to steal money for his boss. Again remember that Emefiele moved 25 billion dollar out without approval of Buhari or anybody. He said Boss Mustafa got him the approval from president which Boss Mustafa denied.

We are too dense a people to eradicate corruption. However, with the right leadership, it can be gone in 1 year if we set our minds to it. Some of us revel in the chaos to derail accountability.
The son's, daughter, wife and grandchildren of these politically exposed persons (PEP) in Nigeria government don't bear the surname of their corrupt fathers to avoid shame in and outside of the country.

A $600k bribe is chicken change bribe compared to the oil and gas ministries. EFCC has a lot of work to do if it beams small torchlight on NNPC, It’s partners and subsidiaries.
