What really helped me was the understanding that "it was not my fault." I was 'angry,' at them, then at me for being so gullible.... then at both of us. The 'anger' has long gone, I now see the emptiness / darkness in them and understand it was not my fault. Thank you for wisdom and encouragement.
That's one of the biggest things to learn and accept that it wasn't your fault. Anything a predator, user, abuser, manipulator, narcissist does to you is ALL THEM. You're not at fault for someone else treating you terrible. 🌻
Narcissists also disappear during stressful times for the victim such as illness, death in the family, financial difficulty, job loss but they will return when they feel enough time has passed. Leaving the victim to suffer alone.
Truth,,,, my narc ex disappeared when my beloved golden retriever passed unexpectedly. He knew how I loved ‘Eli” yet not even a call , and mind you, we live an 1/8 mile from each other & since we are a small farming & ocean front town, we know many of the same people & frequent the very same ocean beach DAILY, he just avoided me, which hurt but showed me how little he knew me or cared about me.
Thank you so much Andrew! You saved me! I don't know how I got so wrapped up in him. Even after 4-5 months of healing and freedom, I allowed myself to be triggered and blasted him to the 10th degree. But it was not necessary to let him push me. As after I let him have the written abuse, I felt guilty and bothered by the fact I had gotten so angry and delivered extremely ugly words to the narcist. I know I still need to get ahold of myself and stay away from all that back and forth stuff. I shouldn't say one word to him as I move forward. I'll never be with him again, he's not trustworthy and he's very angry in his words towards me. My words back to him are way worse, and I almost feel the need to apologize. That would be a mistake!!!

Don't apologize to him. It happens and this was a way to release your anger and frustration but just leave it as be. ANY reaction you give him is fuel and that's why they go low. Thank you this is a great video As i enter a new decade i just celebrated my first birthday in 22 yrs without him He came into my thoughts close to my cake time and all the birthdays with no gift or so thoughtless ones even with 6 kids and I couldn’t grasp why i thought i was his everything yet i sensed he felt a disgust or disappointment for me Strange closer to the ending gifts reappeared similar thoughtfulness like in the first 2 yrs. It had become so dark like he even turned the days and nights upside down for all of us so there was little daytime to live properly. Its taken a bit but my nights are sleeping time now And my kids and me shine during the daytime. I am at moments feeling so broken up like I can’t understand that he didn’t love me He has abandoned us all too yet from a distance sends odd support like paying a water bill for the house i live in for example and i don’t even realize until i go to pay. It’s been 6 months since the discard I am sticking to the path in the light and know I am healing tho at times i worry that he might even come back for me Its scary his distain crossed a line towards the final discard. It’s dangerous when they are quiet type I’ve heard and I really feel thats true. I keep the trust that im on the path to the pinnacle of indifference Never in all the years was I believing I shouldn’t strive for him. He said we are soulmates for many lifetimes already and to hang on and not let go that we aren’t a statistic I really was lost in a fog i see this now and am very grateful i am not with him anymore
The odd support sounds like bread crumbs. Seven people were discarded. Gone for six months and leaving six children. That is a whole lot for you to carry. Take good care of yourself. It does sound like you are right smack on your healing path up the mountain. You will make it to the pinnacle of indifference. Keep voicing your progress as you go along as it helps others, and it is good to be able to voice it all. It may not feel like it, but you are mighty, and so are your kids.
This summer, i lost my off shore beautiful tiny place to a hurricane. Luckily i still have my ohio home that was being renovated and didn't have a renter. I used income from renters, to have added income. Im safe tonight, but my heart will always be with the southern gulf coast where i first discovered paradise years ago. That's why going no contact as Andrew encourages is KEY 🔑 Once you block them, ignore them, don't respond to them, no matter how low they go, is much more powerful because it shows how insignificant they are. I just expected a decent marriage and family life. Does that make me unbalanced? Others did that with no problem, even though they were as uninformed as me about narcissism and sympathetic folk. These narcs are very good at their game as they are well practiced before they meet us. I can’t accept that MY character invited abuse, as so many videos imply. With a decent partner, my married life would have been normal without any changes in my personality. Why are WE accounted responsible for letting these greedy little con-artists fool us? The education has been valuable after the event. In our case ( the duped) I strongly believe ITS NOT US, ITS YOU! May all who have escaped go on to live the rest of their lives free from deranged people!

The mask was so convincing that I believe the guy was an empath. Then the brainwashing started by keeping me on the phone for hours and during the night and I thought he was going through some hard times. It was meant to be a friendship and when he started putting me down and also seducing me I realized the truth. I realized he was training me to be his puppet. This was the worst manipulation and I had a family of narcissists and was healing for a few years but still fell for it. Luckily it lasted only 4 months and I went no contact and now I am silent.
I told my narcissist that I was flying to DE , he wants to come, I lied and old him I had a round trip ticket and will STOP letting him know my plans. He is getting worse, being really nice and attentive for about 2 min. I'm grateful I see right thru it now. He has financial control, so I've hidden the money I've collected. So gratful for this channel.

Hi Andrew. Thanx for another great vid. Between you and Dr Ramini. I have been able to keep my sanity,for the most part. Lol I find myself locking the door and turning off my phone for days. I get overwhelmed by how rampid narcissism is. Is just easier for me to go out for my walks at night. It seems to me there is less of them outside after dark. Or maybe I can't see them hiding. Lol. I speed walk everywhere. They will have to run to keep up. Stay cool and groovy.
Question: I’ve pretty much figured out that my daughter in law is a narcissist & it is causing problems between my son & I , also not able to see 2 of my grandchildren! I have been out of a narcissistic marriage of 18 yrs, for 11 yrs this Christmas Day!! I’ve learned so much about narcissism in these past 11 yrs & have no problem being NO contact with him everywhere! Glad it’s finally over & I am slowly healing! However idk how to even deal with this with my dil. Not that we ever speak, she just flat ignores our whole family! But makes it look as though we’re the ones that just have nothing to do with them or see our grandchildren! I’ve seen 🚩 when I’ve been around her & this has been this way since day 1 of the wedding! If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it! Life is too short to live this way! My son was my first born & my ♥️ but now, I never see him & talk whenever he calls, which is always when he’s not around her! 😢

I'm new to the channel. Listening to videos non stop because I didn't know what was happening to me for years....all I know is i woke up every day drained, depressed and with zero self esteem.
I was fortunate to watch my ex narcissist fall prey to his own creation, his narcissistic youngest son. I watched as he was overtaken, manipulated into putting this sons name on his house & his money (1.3 million) promising to distribute the money among his siblings when the father passes,,, once that was accomplished, this son successfully cut him off from his other children & moved him across country to live in a trailer in the sons back yard! Karma is real.
They live off a script that they've played out plenty of times before with all these empty promises... playing off of people's hopes and dreams... the lowest of the low.
I just wrote out a pro and con list of what I experienced with him. 5 pros to 25 cons. It was so helpful to write that down. It’s been an awful confusing experience, at the lowest point in my life this year when my dad was dying and died, he pursued me, it’s like he knew energetically I was so low and vulnerable. the loveboming began, I thought he was lovely and he felt like such a blessing his coming into my life, now I see the loveboming was also abuse which got me hooked into being with him. although something felt off I didn’t listen to my initial intuition. he’s nothing like who he presented to be, the psychological games he’s played, I’m still trying to make sense of what happened here and how fast it all happened. I was devalued and discarded and then a few days ago received the Hoover message. During our time together I saw several times out of nowhere a look in his eyes that made me feel so uneasy. Narcissistic abuse has been so deeply disturbing to go through. Your videos have been invaluable to me during this time. Thankyou 🙏
He stole my traits during the relationship that’s why he was able to lure girls in, but when he discarded me, given me silent treatment, that’s when he lost his job and lose all those girls 😏😏🤷🏻♀️
That's one thing the narcissist tends to forget, they think they are invincible and that there are no consequences for the things they do... all the hurt, the lies, the manipulation, deceit, games, treachery they put out into the world, the Universe/God sees all and they WILL have to account for it. They self-destruct so that's why it's best to just go no contact and heal and live your best life 🌻
Andrew I am so glad that you have not grown tired of telling this truth in complete detail. I have been free of the narcissist in my life since April 2024. During that time I’ve been weak and strong then weak again and now strong again - this confirms that you must!! Stay NO CONTACT! They are literally waiting in the shadows for their victims to “unblock or refriend” them either decision only leads to heartbreak I know because I gave 2nd and third tries and had it thrown out n my face in a cold hateful way. As if the narc was waiting to drop kick me after I opened my heart back up- they get a sick twisted thrill from anyone who shows them love or empathy. It’s as if they detest the person who has been loving them wholeheartedly.
Same thing happened to me - three times I was seduced into hope -then blind-sided when dumped over and over. Most calculated, sinister thing I've ever seen. I actually had police warn her to stay away from me the coldness freaked me out so bad.
They do detest the person that loves them because that person is a reflection of everything they are NOT. They are cold, ugly, wicked, envious, jealous monsters so trying to destroy others, especially those that are empathic, is a thrill for them.

Then getting dragged out of the house by my feet...and having the door slammed on my arm over and over....... And I went to jail..... My sister has never had to answer for her actions, but she has the child, my parents don't want to upset her and risk any conflict so she gets what she wants. Meanwhile, I am the strong one that never asks/gets anything whilst my sister is given money, taken on holiday, bought cars... you name it. Open your eyes people, there could be narcs right under your nose and you need to be aware and do all you can to protect yourselves.

Today would have been 20 years of marriage, instead we are divorcing. 3 mos ago, I found out he had been cheating on me, devastated me. It is amazing the changes I have gone through in that time. I had a great day, went to lake and walked the trails early this morning, talked with God and rocked out to music doing housework.

My son is dealing with divorce and its not uncomplicated. But makes you stronger teaches truth and gives you a chance to take care of you, your profession and responsibilities.
I was entitled to Alimony, and child support, as well as 1/2 of the 401k....I did not want anything....to this day, I paid for my education, my housing, my food, and give to my sons....I have no mortgage, no credit card bills, I don't even have a car....I am a professional pedestrian.....
@@learnElvish Everything is fine, I was lucky. In just 2 weeks he used ghosting and that was the end of it from my point of view. Actually, I wanted to tell him that I don't want to see each other anymore, but he beat me to it. My body reacted terribly to his proximity. I was very tired, headache, some mental pressure etc. Since then I have gained a lot of knowledge thanks to Andrew and I recognized that my uncle's wife was a narcissist. However, I was in self-isolation for a while.
There is one thing they do not want u to do . Let them win don't fight back , work on healing every bit of yourself , help others do the same and enjoy a life better than before u met any narcs .

Anger is a healthy and normal feeling although we were told its not. Yesterday I saw his exwife in a store for the first time in 6 years. I left him a year ago after 5 years and during our relationship he always showed me pictures of her social Media Accounts to make me jealous. And When yesterday I recognized it was all just complete filtered pictures and she isnt half as pretty as I am the anger overwhelmed me unecpectedley. He really wanted to triangulate me with an illusion. Didn't work very sucessful as I feel pretty enough even undone and dont need to be the best in any way but the audicity of him to try to make me believe in the fake beauty is hilarious. Today the anger is gone and whats left is a kind of relief to realize that actually everything he said was a lie even about the looks of his exwife. How disgusting to the core they are, arent they.

Remember that every time you accept a narcissist back into your life, he becomes even worse towards you. The abuse is getting worse. The narcissist thinks: "I abuse her, and she accepts me back. There must be something wrong with her. I hate her." You are no longer his ideal image of a person from the beginning of the acquaintance and he hates you for that. Apply the tools from the comment above and stick with it. Don't give up. You owe it to yourself ❤️ You can do it !
Just remember that niceness can be faked, people can ACT loving, ACT caring, but once they show you that dark side, THAT is not a lie as people don't fake being wicked. DO NOT FORGET who they are. Someone that can hurt you and put you through the things these narcs do are not good people and a "loving" act should not erase the ugly truth they have shown you. Stay away. It will only get worse. Cut off all access to you. That's why Andrew strongly encourages NO CONTACT. Thank you this is a great video As i enter a new decade i just celebrated my first birthday in 22 yrs without him He came into my thoughts close to my cake time and all the birthdays with no gift or so thoughtless ones even with 6 kids and I couldn’t grasp why i thought i was his everything yet i sensed he felt a disgust or disappointment for me Strange closer to the ending gifts reappeared similar thoughtfulness like in the first 2 yrs. It had become so dark like he even turned the days and nights upside down for all of us so there was little daytime to live properly. Its taken a bit but my nights are sleeping time now And my kids and me shine during the daytime. I am at moments feeling so broken up like I can’t understand that he didn’t love me He has abandoned us all too yet from a distance sends odd support like paying a water bill for the house i live in for example and i don’t even realize until i go to pay. It’s been 6 months since the discard
I am sticking to the path in the light and know I am healing tho at times i worry that he might even come back for me Its scary his distain crossed a line towards the final discard. It’s dangerous when they are quiet type I’ve heard and I really feel thats true. I keep the trust that im on the path to the pinnacle of indifference
Never in all the years was I believing I shouldn’t strive for him. He said we are soulmates for many lifetimes already and to hang on and not let go that we aren’t a statistic
I really was lost in a fog i see this now and am very grateful i am not with him anymore
The odd support sounds like bread crumbs. Seven people were discarded. Gone for six months and leaving six children. That is a whole lot for you to carry. Take good care of yourself. It does sound like you are right smack on your healing path up the mountain. You will make it to the pinnacle of indifference. Keep voicing your progress as you go along as it helps others, and it is good to be able to voice it all. It may not feel like it, but you are mighty, and so are your kids.

This summer, i lost my off shore beautiful tiny place to a hurricane. Luckily i still have my ohio home that was being renovated and didn't have a renter. The mask was so convincing that I believe the guy was an empath. Then the brainwashing started by keeping me on the phone for hours and during the night and I thought he was going through some hard times. It was meant to be a friendship and when he started putting me down and also seducing me I realized the truth. I realized he was training me to be his puppet. This was the worst manipulation and I had a family of narcissists and was healing for a few years but still fell for it. Luckily it lasted only 4 months and I went no contact and now I am silent.
4 months or 4 years- Pain, trauma, emotional devastation, in a person, can't be measured. Wishing you a healing progress, every single day.
I told my narcissist that I was flying to DE , he wants to come, I lied and old him I had a round trip ticket and will STOP letting him know my plans. He is getting worse, being really nice and attentive for about 2 min. I'm grateful I see right thru it now. He has financial control, so I've hidden the money I've collected. So gratful for this channel.

Question: I’ve pretty much figured out that my daughter in law is a narcissist & it is causing problems between my son & I , also not able to see 2 of my grandchildren!
I have been out of a narcissistic marriage of 18 yrs, for 11 yrs this Christmas Day!! I’ve learned so much about narcissism in these past 11 yrs & have no problem being NO contact with him everywhere! Glad it’s finally over & I am slowly healing!
However idk how to even deal with this with my dil. Not that we ever speak, she just flat ignores our whole family! But makes it look as though we’re the ones that just have nothing to do with them or see our grandchildren! I’ve seen 🚩 when I’ve been around her & this has been this way since day 1 of the wedding!
If anyone has any advice, I would greatly appreciate it!

I'm new to the channel. Listening to videos non stop because I didn't know what was happening to me for years....all I know is i woke up every day drained, depressed and with zero self esteem.
I was fortunate to watch my ex narcissist fall prey to his own creation, his narcissistic youngest son. I watched as he was overtaken, manipulated into putting this sons name on his house & his money (1.3 million) promising to distribute the money among his siblings when the father passes,,, once that was accomplished, this son successfully cut him off from his other children & moved him across country to live in a trailer in the sons back yard! Karma is real.

They live off a script that they've played out plenty of times before with all these empty promises... playing off of people's hopes and dreams... the lowest of the low.
I just wrote out a pro and con list of what I experienced with him. 5 pros to 25 cons. It was so helpful to write that down.
It’s been an awful confusing experience, at the lowest point in my life this year when my dad was dying and died, he pursued me, it’s like he knew energetically I was so low and vulnerable. the loveboming began, I thought he was lovely and he felt like such a blessing his coming into my life, now I see the loveboming was also abuse which got me hooked into being with him. although something felt off I didn’t listen to my initial intuition. he’s nothing like who he presented to be, the psychological games he’s played, I’m still trying to make sense of what happened here and how fast it all happened. I was devalued and discarded and then a few days ago received the Hoover message.
During our time together I saw several times out of nowhere a look in his eyes that made me feel so uneasy.
Narcissistic abuse has been so deeply disturbing to go through. Your videos have been invaluable to me during this time. Thankyou 🙏

That's one thing the narcissist tends to forget, they think they are invincible and that there are no consequences for the things they do... all the hurt, the lies, the manipulation, deceit, games, treachery they put out into the world, the Universe/God sees all and they WILL have to account for it. They self-destruct so that's why it's best to just go no contact and heal and live your best life 🌻

Andrew I am so glad that you have not grown tired of telling this truth in complete detail. I have been free of the narcissist in my life since April 2024. During that time I’ve been weak and strong then weak again and now strong again - this confirms that you must!! Stay NO CONTACT! They are literally waiting in the shadows for their victims to “unblock or refriend” them either decision only leads to heartbreak I know because I gave 2nd and third tries and had it thrown out n my face in a cold hateful way. As if the narc was waiting to drop kick me after I opened my heart back up- they get a sick twisted thrill from anyone who shows them love or empathy. It’s as if they detest the person who has been loving them wholeheartedly.
Same thing happened to me - three times I was seduced into hope -then blind-sided when dumped over and over. Most calculated, sinister thing I've ever seen. I actually had police warn her to stay away from me the coldness freaked me out so bad.
They do detest the person that loves them because that person is a reflection of everything they are NOT. They are cold, ugly, wicked, envious, jealous monsters so trying to destroy others, especially those that are empathic, is a thrill for them.
I remember standing up for myself screaming...there's nothing else I can do....I bought a house....
Then getting dragged out of the house by my feet...and having the door slammed on my arm over and over.......
And I went to jail.....
Listen.....if this is happening to any of you....kids or no kids.....I get it...police and counselors won't help....

Thank you Andrew - you have my family dysfunction pegged. You have just made me realise it even more. My sister has never had to answer for her actions, but she has the child, my parents don't want to upset her and risk any conflict so she gets what she wants. Meanwhile, I am the strong one that never asks/gets anything whilst my sister is given money, taken on holiday, bought cars... you name it. Open your eyes people, there could be narcs right under your nose and you need to be aware and do all you can to protect yourselves.

@@learnElvish Everything is fine, I was lucky. In just 2 weeks he used ghosting and that was the end of it from my point of view. Actually, I wanted to tell him that I don't want to see each other anymore, but he beat me to it. My body reacted terribly to his proximity. I was very tired, headache, some mental pressure etc. Since then I have gained a lot of knowledge thanks to Andrew and I recognized that my uncle's wife was a narcissist. However, I was in self-isolation for a while.

Anger is a healthy and normal feeling although we were told its not. Yesterday I saw his exwife in a store for the first time in 6 years. I left him a year ago after 5 years and during our relationship he always showed me pictures of her social Media Accounts to make me jealous. And When yesterday I recognized it was all just complete filtered pictures and she isnt half as pretty as I am the anger overwhelmed me unecpectedley. He really wanted to triangulate me with an illusion. Didn't work very sucessful as I feel pretty enough even undone and dont need to be the best in any way but the audicity of him to try to make me believe in the fake beauty is hilarious. Today the anger is gone and whats left is a kind of relief to realize that actually everything he said was a lie even about the looks of his exwife. How disgusting to the core they are, arent they.

This is so true. Lock your door, change your number. It's going to be hard breaking free but you can do it. Take them back and your life will be hell.
Remember that every time you accept a narcissist back into your life, he becomes even worse towards you. The abuse is getting worse. The narcissist thinks: "I abuse her, and she accepts me back. There must be something wrong with her. I hate her."
You are no longer his ideal image of a person from the beginning of the acquaintance and he hates you for that.
Apply the tools from the comment above and stick with it. Don't give up. You owe it to yourself ❤️

Cut off all access to you. That's why Andrew strongly encourages NO CONTACT.
