I wasn't sure if she could pull it off, but call her stubborn or determined, she did, and her reaction was completely worth it. I grant her the title of "Super Elite". Thanks for also including her mishaps, the noises she makes are hilarious.
I'm old enough to remember my parents grinding it out on this stage when they still had their NES. I caught most of this part but didn't actually see her beat it. Good for her, as SMB 3 is probably the last Mario game whose hardest parts aren't hidden in secret stages or locked off until the post-game.
Yeah they don't make games like this anymore. There's a really wild fortress in World 7 that I think Milo is pretty close to. Actually love this stuff honestly.
Miko's determination is impressive. No matter how hard things are she isn't giving up till she makes it. Its like her whole hololive history and in the end it always pays out for her.
I'm so glad I watched that live. She figured out _what_ to do much faster than I expected. But _how_ to do it was another problem entirely. She got a crash course on enemy respawns, running, and carrying objects. It reminds me of the first time I played it as a little kid, way back in 1990. I remember hating this level (if not all of World 6) more than anything else in the game. Thanks for posting this video, and including the timer!
There's also the handicap of using a Non-NES controller. She was using B & A on the switch controller, which was terrible for holding down the B button while freely using A. Second half of the level attempt she had to use the PSP "claw" grip to clear the stage. IIRC she only tested the X/Y buttons after she was done for the day.
@@CappyKitten Yes and so is the same for 7F1 (World 7 first fort). Either you come in with a tail, or you have to get a tanooki, or do it the hard way if you're small.
I feel bad for her when she's doing good and then runs into something that causes her to lose, but I'm glad that she keeps trying too. Personally I've never beaten SMB3 because I never had an NES (SMW on SNES was one I played a ton though), and just never got too far on it now since I've got other games to play, but it's still a fun game to watch.
i noticed from earlier clips that she was never using the run button and was wondering why. When i played smb3 as a tiny baby i remember holding down the run button throughout almost the entire game, and still just using my thumb to hit either button or both at the same time. Now that think about it there aren't a lot of contemporary games that require you to hit multiple buttons with your thumb at once, besides fighting games i guess.

GenX’ers: “I beat this game inside-out when I was 9….”
5:16 - Elite warcry.
She really is something special. In a good way!
Miko!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
🥲 so proud
That scream at the end was something else😂😂😂😂
What makes Miko truly Elite is that she rarely gives up on stuff
"A large earthquake came" LOL
Her screams are ear-shattering, but it's also what makes her so cute.
1:08 I thought you went down to Super Mario after getting hit while holding a power-up...
This video reflects how she overcame the hardships in her career
2:55 I just imagine Miko's little legs stomping rapidly here
To be fair, this map can be pretty frustrating.

I miss when games were this hard. Now if a game is even slightly difficult it's all "Omg it's like Dark Souls!"
1 hours mikochi🤣🤣🤣
4:25 knowing the sacred rule of Fans taking after thier streamer. That 3fp would have taken the controller and died the exact way like miko did lol.
Today's stream had the same energy as Tree Sentinel Sensei lol
It's been YEARS but I vaguely remember SMB3 being chock full of annoying stages like this
This is by far the most obtuse one in the game.

This is why I miss gaming during the 80's & 90's.
@@orb1611 agreed games were really fun and challenging back then. Even with hardware limitations.
@@noble_wine you might like Tunic which gives the feeling of having to read a game manual to progress. Really fun game
Exactly the stage I thought it would be from the title.
I find strange when she give up but she went back i tried again and manage to win that was so Miko

That's the way of a true ELITE!

Yeah, this level bring back my trauma 😟
So THAT'S why 2 hours later she was still in the same world.
Elite determination.
this is why she is super elite.
She died to running out of time. Elite gamer.
This stage drives me nut because I never mastered flying and holding objects in SMB3. Now I want to learn because of cutie.
Of all the stages in SMB3, this one deserves its own exclusive hell
Glad she beat it. Hopefully she got a really good item from that mushroom.
The fact that the requirements for the exit are SO SPECIFIC and difficult to do is definetly what makes this stage so reviled!

2:28 tskr awwuuuuuu
Good on Miko for persevering like she did. I and many others can agree that this stage is BULL.
This is when the elite baby gets challenged and she is stubborn to a fault, very proud of her in taking on the mario series.
This is the way!

pure pain and effort. 😁

The same girl who defeated sans and tree sensei
Elite determination
Super Mario World looking to be interesting...

1:34 exactly my reaction back then, when I play this stage 🤣
She thinks that's bad just wait till any stage in world 8. I doubt she's passing the airships long jumps even with a P-wing.
Sasuga Elite
