I like this twist. It starts off similar to a cup of cup recipe but that crust on top takes it to another level. I too love crust. You gave me an idea for the crust, spread butter, sugar and cinnamon between the layers. How did you come up with this twist? You are very creative. Well worth a try. It looks so yummy. This is the first video I've seen of yours and was surprised you had been on for 3 years. I already clicked the ones I wanted to make. Your instructions are easy to follow.
Sir, this is IT! I make the filling a little differently and use Marie Callendar’s pie crusts. But the batter and pastry is genius and worked perfectly! When I do it again, I’ll add more juice though because that much dough soaked up a lot of it. This is my new cobbler recipe!

I remove the filling from those cobblers and put it in my own crust. Once it's baked, no one ever questioned that it is anything other than homemade. I started doing this after being so disappointed with the mushiness of canned peaches and the frozen peaches that have no taste.
If you simmer canned peaches on low for 10-15 minutes, they don’t get too mushy. At least that’s what I’ve found. Also, Marie calendar makes frozen pie crusts. They are the best- buttery and flaky. I take three out of their tins, allow to thaw, roll out together and shape to make this cobbler top. It is fantastic!
This recipe is bomb I just tried it and I highly recommend it, I made half the recipe in a 8x8 pan so I cooked it for 10 more minutes for a total of 30 mins when I put the crust on top. Thank you again!

Lay Saran Wrap down. Put dough in middle, lay another Saran on top and roll out. Keep it cold. So if it becomes room temp, when it about to lay on top, just pop back on fridge for 5-10 min until stiff.

I like the pie version of peach cobbler and the batter version, so I decided to combine the two to see how I’d like it and it turned out great!
