I do exactly the same here in the UK. I stopped watching terrestrial tv just before the Covid lockdown and haven’t looked back since then, I can’t get enough ☺️
It's coming up on my 7th year anniversary! Quit watching American TV after my first kdrama, Healer, and haven't watched them since. It's amazing how much I've learned since I first started and how much I've gotten used to and fully accept now. Such as 30 year old actors playing high school kids. Strange at first but barely even notice now. I'll never give up my kdramas. I've rewatched some multiple times because they are that good. Goblin is my top rewatch. I've watched that 8 times and will be starting my 9th within the week. With no plans to ever stop watching. 😁

With a couple of my faves I found that on seeing them for a second or third time I went off them. I loved ‘something in the rain’ but when I saw it for a second time her mother annoyed me so much I hated her, and the fact that the fl was 40 but still let her rude obnoxious mother rule her life irritated me as well and I wanted to shake her. I don’t think I’ll ever watch it again.

Maybe you've seen all of them at least once. The strongest rewatched are Doctor John an Devil Judge.
Anything Rowoon and Jung Haein are on my list IF NETFLIX aura them in USA...Likewise, anything JBTC is bound to be excellent...Second season of Attorney Woo and DP ❤️ Tomorrow second season??

Korea seems to only recruit the same good looking actors, a glut of actors with the same ability and the same looks, therefore it gets boring. We need more mature actors with wrinkles! Proper storylines because the TV Companies are going for a tried and tested formula. Good looking young = a fan base not good film or TV. Also, the older actors well there are no so many of them and they play the same parts only on a differing set!!! The story writers and commissioners of films and TV as a watcher I am getting bored to death!!! Yawn.
King the land is a trashy cring kove story same like business proposal.male Lead actors are like robots with no expressions ,i mean juat look at them smiling and in anger. You see no depth in their expressions. Plus no proper story, it is just that the leads fall in love thats all.
Psst, well child I am enjoying it. I figured out long ago that life is hard and sad enough, so i am going to look for love and happiness. Even if it's only in kdrama.
I feel sorry for you. If you can’t enjoy something like King the Land the joy must have been sucked from your life. Real life is a mess so K-dramas (and C-dramas and occasionally some j-ones too) are a bit of escapism. Maybe you’d like thrillers or sci-fi instead? Three Body is a Chinese sci-fi which is very good, in fact Netflix are making an English speaking version for release soon.
