Wow, nice big house. Like you said, the 2WD seems a better idea to me cause it doesnt tear up the lawn. But as I commented on tools&stuff, they need to add a camera with third person view. Cause whats the point with a remote controlled lawnmower when I have to run around it all the time to make sure I actually mow something. Its like selling a drone where you have to fly beside it (ok, not a good example). I want to sit on the deck in the shade, maybe have a additional tablet with the camera view on my lap and race around the proberty.
Great video. The mower is cool and all, and I see the need that some people would have for it, not being able to physically mow their lawn, but playing devil's advocate, it's just a 'look what I can afford' toy for others, just a status symbol, and one step closer to Wall-E level of laziness for others. Not your mower not your thing, I get it, so i'll say great video again, super informative, best one yet on this mower. Very cool Jim!!!
I agree being able to calibrate the sensors or alow the owner to bypass them so the remote dosent limit its range to 25 feet is a good idea let the owner take the liability 16:00 @Philly Fixed
Nice mower and great review Jim. Looks like it would be handy for terrain similar to yours for sure. I was wondering, if the remote has a display to see from a integrated camera or was all of that video footage seeing it go from an action camera that you mounted on the front?
The footage was from a GoPro mounted on the front. An integrated camera with output to the remote screen would definitely help when you're driving the mower at a greater distance!
Nice video! Interesting concept. Do you think that you would prefer this to actually using a walk behind mower? It seems like where you have to still be controlling it, it doesn't make as much sense as a robotic lawn mower does but I could be wrong.
@@TinkerWithTools I think a robot mower makes more sense, but most robot mowers don't have a "real" mower blade. The consensus seems to be that the cut quality on those is mediocre. This unit is firmware updatable and they have some add-on kits. I've heard rumors of a GPS add-on to make it autonomous, but we'll see
whats the point if it cant mow autonomously? You're still following this thing around even though you aren't pushing/steering it by hand. The remote control is just ridiculous.
A snow plow attachment would be great
The bit with Rob at the end was great!

It would be so easy to add a camera and goggles to do that.

Wow it Cuts pretty well on medium blade speed love that it Turns On a dime And makes donuts 8:10 @Philly Fixed
Looks like a remote controlled VW Bug dune buggy😂
Very cool Jim been away Hope you and your family are doing well @Philly Fixed
Great video, Jim. Thanks for doing a pretty in-depth review of this thing. Fascinating technology that seems to work pretty well.

Which grass? Probably uses more battery

Rob doesn't work with large pipe. Now we all know🤣🤣🤣
How small of a tree trunk can you get around? We have an orchard.
It uses all 4 wheels to turn on a dime. However, it's hard to make precise turns without standing close enough to see and navigate.
Great loophole to the child labor laws to have my kid mow the lawn. Thanks!
@@lukecanride my 5 year old loves this thing!
Can you send that to my yard after. I'm sure the last 11% would finish up my yard😅
Bro where are the new videos?
Cruise control Seems kinda stupid you have to push a button then hit okay every time you change motion 10:30 @Philly Fixed
😎🛠️😎🛠️😎
I fell asleep before it started to cut the grass .bore off
I would like to see this mower cut a manicured lawn. Most owners yards look poorly maintained.
I don’t see the point. May as well get a gas self propelled same thing and prob easier to use.
Which grass? Probably uses more battery....lol there is no grass even in your video

For fun!!! Why would you get an RC car??? FOR FUN!!!! Cutting grass is damn boring, so it might as well make it fun.
🥳🥳🛠️🛠️😎😎🍦🍦
You need to put out some new videos testing out the new dewalt impact and hammer drill!
