I love DSBM because it's more instrumental. I think it's a sophisticated metal subgenre. If one is going to love DSBM; he/she have to reach a level of taste first. Otherwise DSBM sounds like some creepy guy screams while playing guitar.

I actually listened to DSBM when I was I think 11 I'm 13 now and Thy Light was the first band I listened to and even I was amazed and filled with emotions

Thy light has many beautiful guitar solos in their songs and the music is unique and enchanting.
I find it interesting that once I was introduced to this type of music/metal...that I've always found it to be relaxing and even uplifting at times.

Holy fuck this is beautiful. Where has this band been all my life.
It's a shame this band is so underrated. The atmosphere they create in there music is very unique and I really love how it changes tone during the song. The tremolo picking in the end strangely makes me feel so happy. I hope they make more music.

Dsbm needs more music with this level of production. Like it has some raw elements but still sounds very good production wise. I personally find it more immersive than the stuff that's deliberately made to sound bad

I didn't know there was a genre created (in my ignorant opinion) after an unusual song by Tangerine Dream from their "THIEF" soundtrack, called "Confrontation" composed by Craig Safan with guitar solo by Edgar Froese (this solo is as beautiful as PF's Conformably Numb).
And here, I hear 100% the influence in this beautiful track by Thy Light. Cheers.
