- The Philadelphia Eagles took a 14-20 lead over Washington last night, then it was all downhill for Philly after that. After a failed 4th-and-goal attempt, Doug Pederson yanked Jalen Hurts for Nate Sudfeld who turned it over twice and finished with just 32 passing yards on 5-of-12 passing. Why would it matter if they won this game? The season is lost, they want a better draft pick, they didn't want to risk Hurts getting injured in a meaningless game and they gave back ups playing time who barely see the field. Not a big deal.
@@bocronfield6478 playing against a division rival to possibly knock them out of the playoffs, I don't care about the NFC east but I can't imagine letting a division rival win and not letting Hurts show what he can do with the game on the line. If I'm Jason Kelce I'm leaving the eagles. I'm not playing for a team that NEEDS a higher pick, I would rather play for a team that wants to win.

Lurie probably told Doug and company that Sudfeld should play at some point so that Hurts wouldn’t take any unnecessary hits after he played enough snaps or if things went south quickly and Washington was blowing them out. Perhaps Lurie wanted to see if Sudfeld can play well enough to keep him as a backup QB if Wentz or Hurts ends up being traded.

Pederson is one of the most overrated coaches in the league. He basically hopped on to one of the most talented rosters of the decade and won the SB. Jeff Fisher would have won it all with that team.
They really should show the clips that are brought up when skip says can we see this... we get to see on sportscenter, inside the nba, get up, and basically every show.

I believe that Wentz got frustrated and just quit. I don't believe that a possible MVP can regress like this. Schwartz just said he retire for a year. They didn't build around Wentz as promised then want him to play with an average WR's will not win games and Metcalf made them pay for it.
