Daihatsu, I think, are the best of the Kei car line up. I've driven Daihatsu models for many years and I find them very good and reliable vehicles.

Thank you for your comment. I think some people are put off by Daihatsu withdrawing from new car sales in the UK, but I agree they're good cars.

great video my first car was a Diahatsu domino still miss the company it was a loss from the uk currently looking at a suzuki Lapin but not sure if it comes in a rurbo version or how to go about importing one cheers great video

Yes it's a real shame but glad to be able to share some of their Japanese offerings to the UK market. Regarding the Lapin, no they aren't available with a turbo, just the standard 52 hp NA engine. However I think this is plenty of power in such a light car. Where can I get a timing belt and water pump kit for the Tanto within the UK?

@@Andrewsjapanesecars Very nice. I live in Australia though haha. To be honest im not completely sure if they let you import 2010s era kei cars here. They have plently of brand new n boxes and spacias i cant afford tho

Like it,and drive a Daihatsu Copen and Hijet.I take it front passenger seat cannot food flat to the floor,unlike Honda N Box.
