Hi dear, yes International schools are costly at least 18k a year. For public school you can get a seat, but since it is taught in German it is best for him to learn German first and then join. In 12th he need to write Abitur(exam) if he did not know German it will be difficult for him.

Hi, there might be a small test for him to understand his level of knowledge. It is better to have some basic German course in India but you will be requested to join a extra German class in the school itself. Even if you did not get Gyms now you can join him later after 10th grade.

Hi Anu, Sorry for the delay, i was trying to get the information before replying. The below is the information i got. In short the answer is no. After ausbildung, the changes of getting into medicine is very slim unless you have very good grades (top level). Otherwise you need to work 3 more years in medical field after ausbildung to increase your chance of getting into medicine which is a long way. No where it is mentioned that the years will be less after ausbildung, so it is safe to assume you have to study the entire duration of medicine. Hope this information helps you.

Hi, education is mandatory in Germany, so you will always get admission but nearest school might not be possible. For children in 9th will have special language class in school so no need to worry.

Yes teaching is in German. Only 1 subject will be in English. If the child has passed high school then it will be difficult here. Also I guess they should have A1 certificate before coming to Germany.

Hi Hari, unfortunatly i also do not have information for special schools. But i have written an email now to govt authorities in Munich to get more information about it. Once i get a reply from them i will reply in here again. I hope they write sooner, but we need to wait for few days.👍

As parents we have to put some efforts to make them learn english or our native languages. I have seen several other parents from other countries doing the same.

Hi, for 10 grade you need to talk to the school because they will have additional class for language. But you will always get a seat in school. As per German govt all children must go to school so there will be a school available.

How to get admission for 8th std
Just Goto nearby Oberschule or gymnasium school they will take care of the admission. Or you can call for senator for kinder and Bildung number in the website. Please search for it in google.
