HE BUILT KNIGHTMARE HELL YEAH WOO NERDCHACHO!!! Wow congratulations on building a coaster that I’m a genuine fan of. like the pure amount of info I know about Camelot and knightmare is crazy [edit] you should name the restaurant the round table like the knights of the round table so a reference to the legend of Camelot so it would make sense as a nod
Now that I've also completed the future stuff around it, it really does look the part. It's one of my favourite things in the park, I think. It's a throw back to what was once there and it was cheaper to refit it than to build something else on that spot..
Hah, I remember that coaster at Camelot! I was a bit obsessed with it as a child when I'd seen it in the TV ads and driving past the park on the motorway, and then when I finally got to ride it was "yeah, it's OK, I guess..." 😆
I remember going on a school trip to Camelot as a 15 year old when this ride was newly opened, I loved it. I never got to ride it again after that 😢. I was disappointed that southport pleasureland failed to save it. On top of that I was really saddened to find that a couple years back it was demolished days before my birthday 😢
I'm surprised that no-one saved it.. It was, as it seems, quite the beloved coaster.. yet, when everything else was sold off, this sat for sale forever until it was sent to the scrap heap.. I wonder why..
@@Nerdchacho it was probably mixture of problems. I believe the owners wanted around £2million for it, which was a stupid price for a coaster that needed refurbishing and ended up costing money to demolish. Pleasureland couldn’t secure the funding at the time. Since then Sefton council have granted Pleasureland planing permission for a Thunderbolt clone that failed to get off the ground. Anyway to get back on track the owners wanted too much money, pleasureland didn’t have the money, Sefton council didn’t want to use taxpayers money, even though it would have brought more money into a struggling seaside town.
I never got the chance to go, but AdventureMe did a video on it as a walk-through and it seems like it was, at one point, a really nice place. Seems weird to picture how it was vs how it is now... Like the buildings and where rides are etc. It's weird what happens when nature starts to reclaim abandoned stuff
@Nerdchacho have seen the adventure me video so many memories from it's hey day. Unfortunately, in its later years, it started slowly declining and became a shell of its former self. Fortunately, the park still sort of exists as a halloween attraction called scare city
I would LOVE to say that it is a hidden, bonus thing, like the old hidden tracks on albums.... It isn't... The truth is, I edit the video together THEN edit the intro - but edit it at the end of the vid, then move it. I've not moved the clip or spotted that it is still there, However, if we want the romance of mystery rather than my sheer incompetence.... secret things are there.. See what you can spot :D
Not sure if this happens to everyone, but there's dead air for nearly the last full minute. Vid resumes with about 4 secs left with different coaster ride footage.
Really liking the vibe of this park so far! It's cozy and realistic and has a character of its own :)

Incredible timing at 2:21 where you say you’re going to steal something and everyone on the flume cheers 😂
Midnight upload? I mean i was gonna go to sleep but I'll watch this instead lol
something about this park, it just works! loving it so far!
the arcade came out great. I love the overgrown shrubs you put in the front too. It was all so good really.

It really is one of the lost legends, isn't it? There's a lot of love for it out there!

Can wait to see the finished product of this series.
Loving the park so far, but chacho please explain the ladybirds outside the arcade??? Awesome
Oh, it's just one of them coin operated rides we have in the UK. They're usually vans, horses or something like that.. It's meant to be that.. :)
@Nerdchacho yea i know that lol but where did it come from, never seen it before, is it Tmtk or did you make it?
Oh yeah, it's a TMTK item from the workshop. If you've downloaded Beachy Point, you'll have it in your library, I used it there too :)
@Nerdchacho indeed i have sir, cant believe i missed that 🤌
the play zone feels so real haha. love it
Love this park and how its coming out.
Great to ride knightmare again, was gutted when camelot closed up shop

It would be really cool if frontier added a gravel/pebble texture that was sligjtly 3d that we could just paint on the ground for planco 2
Fr
i do like the tarmac
You timed this so right, but I worked an extra two hours.
Then you deserve the break... :)
CAMELOT MENTIONED 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️ VIDEO CLICKED ON
How are you able to place paths over the railroad tracks?!
Digital Dan is such a legend
His stuff has saved me on many occasion too.. I hope he doesn't mind me just using his stuff (with credit) haha
Fun fact: Knightmare was actually built by Ziere
You're right, that is a fun fact! I didn't know this... today was a good day!
You should recreate the odyssey at fantasy island
I would love a euro fighter
Idk if ur going to name it based on the real version, but how about The New Comet, or Fonix?
24:34 What's going on here then? 😂

@@ZamTx1 nope. That is my sheer incompetence...
@@Nerdchacho or it's a new feature: a Chacho post-credits scene!
@@ZamTx1 I did consider using something similar to tease d
Something, but it generally doesn't work.. 🤣
NERDCHACHO UPLOADED LETS GOOOOOO
Excuse me sir, how did you pronounce urinals?
you-rine-alls...
