This came out so well sir. I did one improvisation which was add butter instead of ghee in the end. I am not sure how different it would have been has I used ghee but the one with butter tasted so well. Even my 9 month old son are this for lunch today. Thank you for sharing your recipes.

Chef I made this today! My whole family loved it!! Very very delicious! I combined two recipes of yours: Brinji recipe and Calicut briyani recipe and skipped a few ingredients (Like three ladles of ghee and coconut milk and a few other ingredients) LOVED IT. The soaked bread in Biryani is the highlight! I layered the rice in two parts: First the masala, then the cooked rice, mixed it a little, layered some gobi 65 (Followed your recipe for this with few more spice powders), the fried bread, then another layer of masala, rice and more gobi 65, bread, and masala+ 4 cashews. Topped with coriander and added milk+kesar combo. Kept dum for 20min. SO DELICIOUS! Thank you for teaching these recipes! I did prep work for about 25min (Cutting beans into tiny rings, peeling peas, then cutting gobi carrot capsicum) the day before and put it in fridge. This morning I parboiled them all. Cut potatoes fresh since I felt cutting it beforehand wasn't good. Took a good 15min for all to cook half-done. Same with banglore tomatoes. Cut fresh. All in all took me around 2hrs 30min to finish the biryani+gobi combo. Cause I made more dishes like gobi, fried papad, pachidi it took a while. But oh god the result was so good! Though I feel it's best had once in two months or three months. Very heavy food. We used seeraga samba since we feel Basmati smell overpowers everything else.

I layered the rice in two parts: First the masala, then the cooked rice, mixed it a little, layered some gobi 65 (Followed your recipe for this with few more spice powders), the fried bread, then another layer of masala, rice and more gobi 65, bread, and masala+ 4 cashews. Topped with coriander and added milk+kesar combo. Kept dum for 20min. SO DELICIOUS! Thank you for teaching these recipes! I did prep work for about 25min (Cutting beans into tiny rings, peeling peas, then cutting gobi carrot capsicum) the day before and put it in fridge. This morning I parboiled them all. Cut potatoes fresh since I felt cutting it beforehand wasn't good. Took a good 15min for all to cook half-done. Same with banglore tomatoes. Cut fresh. All in all took me around 2hrs 30min to finish the biryani+gobi combo. Cause I made more dishes like gobi, fried papad, pachidi it took a while. But oh god the result was so good! Though I feel it's best had once in two months or three months. Very heavy food. We used seeraga samba since we feel Basmati smell overpowers everything else.
