i like how you repeat yourself a lot, most teachers just say things once and dont emphasize the fundamentals which go right over my head all the time and results in me being losT!
Unbelievable, no words. I came to this video completely lost and finished it understanding the whole topic. The way you go through everything slowly and thoroughly makes you a teacher like no other. Much appreciated
Thank you for the work you put in these videos. Seriously, genetics looked like a different language until you broke it down for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
This is truly amazing!! Thank you so much for taking the time to explain so well and making this video. Everyone fragments all this info instead of presenting it all together. My professor does not put any of this together, everything is organized in the wrong way on her lectures, things are in different chapters.
My textbook doesn't explain how crossing over leads to genetic diversity. So I was pondering about this for a long time. Thanks for the detailed explanation, Sir❤
Thank you so much I’ve been so confused on this topic and this is literally the only video that I have found that has clearly clearly and I repeat clearly and thoroughly explained this topic God bless you. You know I mean it when I comment
OMG, thank you thank you so much, our such a great teacher I never understood genetics until I watched your videos....LIFE SAVER, please continue making these great videos
I'm wondering when this channel will blow up and become a main place for learning. Like every video I watch I know the information has been well thought out and explained. I guess its a matter of time, unless you can somehow trick people to start watching your videos. It would just be nice to know you get paid by youtube for all this content.
WELL DONE. I just extract book topics, forget about much of their complicated grammar and litteracy then go to your lectures, @ the end every understanding on those topics become *CLEAR LIKE THE ROCK WATER*
thank you so much that explaining so details. especially I love your repition on some of the concepts, it actually help me understand the concept better.
anyone else having issues where it doesnt sound very loud? I've got my speakers up to max and the volume control on the video up to max and its not very loud... just wondering if its only me! great lecture thanks!
I absolutely find your videos indispensible for my Anthro class as we're delving into genetic inheritance. Thanks so much. But, I do have 1 suggestion. My laptop is at maximum volume, and I can only hear you if I try... In the future could you do videos with louder audio? Thanks a ton!
+Eric Mazariegos There are only a few of these videos where the volume is low, unfortunately I only noticed that AFTER I recorded and uploaded. and thanks for the kind words! good luck in your course!
Sir, the best ever lecture as always, but the audio is very low for genetics lectures, other biochemistry lectures were with good audio. I request you to please look into this sir.
Please crossing over occurs only in linked genes, and it is must also occur during meiosis....what if we are asked to draw out the chromosome of an unlinked gene in metaphase 2....are we going to cross over the genes or not?
I love your lectures u r best of the best sir plz upload biotechnology lectures like cloning of gene ...procedure of recombination of dna technology etc thanks
Plz make my concept clear regarding the homologous pair...is there any force that keep them together and if they have the same genes so why recombinant ones are again referred to be as homologous? ?
We were taught that syntenic genes are on the same chromosome, but that linked genes are so close to each other that when crossing over occurs, they both are taken over to the new chromosome and therefor genetic recombination doesn't happen for those two genes. I can hear him saying, "All linked genes are syntenic, but not all syntenic genes are linked!" This video doesn't help me at all in describing why syntenic genes sometimes assort independently or travel with each other when they are too close.
i like how you repeat yourself a lot, most teachers just say things once and dont emphasize the fundamentals which go right over my head all the time and results in me being losT!
Same thing here! And the good thing about AK Lectures's videos is that you don't have to rewind while waching.
I completely agree!!
So true!
this was super helpful & easy to understand!
pause at 12:48 if you’re trying to take a screenshot of the board behind him.

Let's all take a moment and realize how amazing AK Lectures haha. This is such a clutch video!!!! THANK YOU!!!
THANK YOU FROM A PREVIOUSLY CONFUSED STUDENT
U have no idea...how many blessings u receive from students.......a sincere thanks to u...
Thank you for the work you put in these videos. Seriously, genetics looked like a different language until you broke it down for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
I come here every time I have a bio test. Honestly, you should have so many more views. Your videos help A LOT
No HD animation...
No super-display board...
No best sound system...
Still the one of the best lecture I've heard.Thank you.
Great method of teaching. Keeps on going back to certain parts and repeating/linking together concepts. Really helps my understanding.
I was so confused about this concept in class. Thank you so much for going through slowly and making this so easy to understand!!!
this was so genuinely helpful. I searched far and wide, and this is by far the best explanation. thank-you so so so much!
Your clear explanation with clear pronunciation is really helpful, especially international student like me. Thank you so much. Blessing !!
I am from Albania and even in another language i can say that this video is very helpful...thank you!!!!
i know this video is old, yet i understand it more quick and easy than how my professor taught us.. you're a big help to us students

I really appreciate you sir.....you cleared my some confusional steps!
you are really an amazing teacher, I didn't know that biology could be that easy!
Thank You :))
Great job bro studiying linkage in India from your video.👍👍👍👍
I love this video. It's spotless that made me understand about topic more. Sir, do you have a video about Epistasis?
Amazing amazing explanation! You have a clear clarity about topics

Great explanation ☺️
So great lectures, thank you so much really
your the best sir... keep doing more lectures
absolutely fantastic!!!
keep posting.
best lecturer ever .. please we need more lectures in this line
I don't understand what exactly crossing over is. Please help
legend!
like the way you explain
first of all, thank you for your lectures but my question is why you assigned different colors for the same trait's allele
Plz make my concept clear regarding the homologous pair...is there any force that keep them together and if they have the same genes so why recombinant ones are again referred to be as homologous? ?
Love the explanation.thanks
Thank you so much! It really helped me a lot!
the word for the synapsis is known as chiasmata. The chromosomes come together in their homologous paris to form a bivalent. Some extra info.
And is this recombination good or bad regarding mutation or variation (uniqueness )much confused about that!!!!
Hello, I was wondering if this was Autosomal Linkage?
Thanks! Great Videos :)
the sound is really low can you fix it please?

And plz tell about the chiasma nd synaptonemal complex...
I just wanna say.....................
I love u
Superb.. keep making videos ....
Wow, I wish you were my biology teacher.
