He raised those 4 kittens, I wish you can reunite them with the dog again, like frequent visits, or even once in a while visits, they are family to him he misses them. I am happy that you bring him other foster kittens to foster it really refreshes his spirt and make him happy again, as he is a nurturer at his core. He is a blessing he is a nurturer and cares for others, all kittens are blessed to have such good dad dog like this angel blessed dog.

I know fostering is just as much as important if not more but seeing the baby get heartbroken again and again when the kittens leave, just made me feel sad. 🥺❤

yeah, but you KNOW the kittens are disappointed when they realize he doesn't have milk. Sure, the owner's coming in with a bottle later, but it's not the same!
I never met this dog but I know I love him as if he's actually mine. Sometimes I honestly believe animals that are nice like him are just angels in disguise. Please everyone, treat your animals with love.
I know as a stranger I have no right to tell you, " you need to get him a forever kitty". I don't know your circumstance or financial burdens. But if you are able- and willing- I think a forever kitty would make this dog's life forever grand. 🥰❤

But he is like a nurse who knows they don't get to take a sick little child home forever. Think of all the kittens' lives he has helped in a way a shelter would not be able to do. He is marvelous!

What a good boy, he even seemed to instinctively know to lick the babies' rumps to stimulate their potty reflex. Young kittens have to be simulated to relieve themselves by their mothers licking them.
I imagine that he might instinctually know to do that because puppies are the same
@@shanellemurrey9300 fascinating, I thought that was just rats and other small prey animals. So the babies don't give away their location via smell.
@@KairuHakubi yeah, although I’m not sure if male dogs actually help out much when raising litters, so if they don’t then I guess it probably is a bit more surprising that he would have this instinct as well.
Although again, if most male dogs don’t actually try to help out in litters much, then I also find that interesting since wild canines (like wolves, coyotes/ jackals, foxes)seem to have the father help quite a bit

@@KairuHakubi Aaw, I wasn’t fully sure, I haven’t really seen dog fathers help the mothers raise their litters and the information from Google was kind of conflicting lol. Very cute how much canines have the fatherhood thing down since most male animals or at least mammals, are basically sperm donors 😅
He make a great DAD! You can tell he a good boy picking the kitten up real easy and putting it on the couch!
He actually helped keep them alive . New kittens have to be stimulated to urinate and defecate and their mother does that by licking them.. this sweet dog has strong paternal instincts to nurture and hes super gentle. His behavior speaks volumes for the way he was raised. Great owners.❤

It's not _"mopey,"_ it's grief. When you've loved someone, especially young ones, and formed a bond it hurts like hell when they're taken away and you know you're never gunna see them again.
The dog hasn't gotten over it just cos there are new cats to love, he's just a good boy with a lot of love in his heart

Chicken Liver can help with blindness. My cat was about 96% Blind, but now she can go down stairs and climb a tree when she wants to. 2x-4x a week helped my cat see much better !

No, just keep getting him new babies to mama from the shelter. That's more important for him to love new babies and for them to have an animal parent who treats them the way their own mama would. Best all the way around, unless you find an adult kitty to keep from the shelter that's equally wanting to be like a mama too, then they can give each other a break. Sometimes they have a cat that's lactating to feed the kittens too. 😊

Yeah, that's a tough one. I mean, it's just one permanent cat but, maybe it WOULD affect how many fosters could be brought in at once. I guess, leave it up to God and/or the "Cat Distribution System." Neither one has ever failed the furbabies yet.

i feel ya, i'm the same way after sending off the last foster in the bunch. bummed out for a week or two, but then , BAM! new fosters!
And don't forget about the foster fails! Lol yeah my wife and I were the same way. We had to stop because my foster organization will not let us foster with a baby. So she will be 5 this month and we are going to wait till she is a little older to start fostering again

The only thing wrong is with "people" imposing human thinking and emotions on pets/animals... this puppers has a job and is loving life and what he does. Don't ascribe your human failings to animals... ya know ... unless YOU are perfect kn all aspects.
Also, because he's a male dog. If he was a female dog, they would've realized it was a mother thing and adopted a kitten. He's trying to be a forever father.
