Love to see the climb going steadily upwards. I've been using movement speed runes plus Swifties when using Aphelios to patch out his lack of mobility. 401 MS with Celerity, MS shard and Swifties feels soooo good to play with, and has secured me kills and kept me safe in situations I would have otherwise lost.
I would like your advice on playing ranked games. Due to the fact that the account is old, I was thrown to bronze 3. I play all the supports champs and often pick supports for my adc (don’t f*ck up the waves, usually always winning the lane). But since this is low elo, while we win the botlane, everyone else on our team are 0/7 by the 15th minute and ints so hard, not knowing the macro game. I was advised to play solo carry mages or temporarily play other lanes to carry my team alone. What would you recommend? Because I am desperate( so painful to see when your whole team playing mid, while your side-lanes are being pushed
Mage supports is definitely a faster way to climb for smurfs. If you're significantly better than the MMR you're playing in, playing mage supports will probably help you climb faster. But if you're not, it probably doesn't make a difference, and you should just play whatever you're best at. When you play low impact roles (or champion classes) you just have to be comfortable with losing games you deserved to win and find satisfaction in your own performance. Learn to love the process rather than the result. It's taken me 122 games to climb from Emerald to D1 59 LP as someone who was already Master the past 2 splits on another account, which is a crazy slow climb and a testament to how low impact my role/champion is; but win or lose I mostly enjoyed myself, so those 122 games were not a waste of time. It's a marathon not a sprint, so don't panic at not seeing short term results.
They didn't really announce anything, Phreak just made a passing comment that he might look into making some changes to Aphelios to make him more DPS-based. He hasn't commented on it since.
@@VaporaDark it would be truly heartbreaking if they reworked him away from how he plays right now to a more traditional marksman. I really hope they don’t do that
