Well ... hello there! Storm Bert. Presumably the next storm will be called Storm Ernie! It is good news indeed that the ZS was able to start and run. It brought to mind an occasion many moons ago when driving my first car, 1972 MiniCubman, at night when the car in front slowed a great deal for no apparent reason. I shifted down to second gear and overtook on full throttle. The next moment I there was floodwater flying over the roof! Both the dashboard warning lights came on but the car kept running so I kept on going! With hindshight, the air intake on those old A series is quite high up but its surprising the distributor didn't swamp! Electric cars (and possibly hybrid models too) electrocuting themselves in standing water. What a tragic thought! 😁 'The best shower I've ever had!' That sounds like a good topic for 'Just a Minute'! 😄 Goodbye!
I had an MG ZS from 2002 and tested the EV about a year ago: loved it except too much of an SUV for me and of course too expensive. But main issue is I have no way to charge one and no chargers near me (yet). Good car though! Mine got scrapped when the Big End went again (Petrol K Series engine)

G-g-g good evening!
It reminded me of the points and dizzy cars! Especially the Mini, where the dizzy is quite prone!
4:48 lol. The drama!
River Don has a lot to answer for!
@beardsandbangers Better river Don than Don Rivers. 😂
Glad everything turned out ok Rob with the car. always the same with someone else's car take care.
Phew! I was so relieved. I do have an L-series engine Simon could have had if I had broken this one!
It couldn't possibly have happened on a better day 😆
12:12 A mini adventure, without a mini!
Any longer and we would have had hypothermia!

Great the zs is ok, it looks great in that colour with the alloys
So were we! Yes, 11s are the wheel of choice for a Mk2 ZS!
Thank goodness the good old Z bounced back & saved by a beemer
Certainly the day for a hull and an outboard motor

To quote the movie. "OK who is the U boat commander?" Which movie?
