As a teenage Christian, watching videos of Muslims has actually brought me so much closer to the Lord! I feel your passion (their passion) for Allah and the dedication it takes to worship daily. It got me thinking if they can pray 5 times a day and have to do many things to ensure the prayers are valid, and live a pretty (for me, 'tedious') lifestyle, then what is my excuse? I also am drawing so much from this video! I knew that music holds power, but I have been listening to secular music alone for the past few months. Looking back, this had drawn me away from the Lord and made me lose the motivation to spend time with him daily. Thank you for this video... it's awesome to hear the advice you give and be able to relate to it as a non-muslim!
The dua you made is so beautiful we should all make it "Ya Allah if this takes me away from you, take it away from me" talking about social media influencers they don't realize about of the youngsters follow them and even though we are all responsible for our actions we should not call ourselves "influencer" if we don't want people to follow us. Whatever you said genuinely made me happy that someone is finally talking about being an influencer and guiding others to stay away from haram as well. And yes you rightly said, Hijab is a journey.

I wont lie. It's hard. I love music.I still have it in me to hear some songs, even if its on tiktok or watching a movie. I just stopped slowly. The first place was the car. I just turned it off or would put instrumental beats vs musics with lyrics because those really moved me. Its kinda crazy! I am not heavy on Quran, but I play it almost daily in the morning. It helps me start my day knowing I am thinking about Allah. I guess my best tip is everyday focus on giving 50% Dunya and 50% Akhera ( working on the hereafter.) Once you balance that, you'll be good to go inshallah.
