When I had to quit my job due to the lack of daycare in my town i was PETRIFIED. But it's been a few years, and we are doing fine. And you guys will too! I was waiting to hear if you guys were looking to stay in Utah or maybe now's your time to move a little sooner then you guys were expecting but you never said! 🤨🤔😊

Totally get it. My husband went through a similar situation this past year. It was scary as hell and exciting all at the same time. He has since moved into a COMPLETELY different profession after being in the same one for 30 years. It’s ended up being a blessing...it is just tough when you are in the middle of it. Best wishes for something freaking amazing around the corner.

Michelle Bridges oh my!!!! That’s a long time to dedicate to a company to be expendable! Companies shouldn’t be allowed to get away with that type of stuff, especially when you were loyal to them. I would be so angry!
So sorry Tyson 😔 My husband’s company have also been contemplating letting people go over the last 18 months. Twice in that time have all the employees been called into the office one by one to be told if they still had a job. The first time my poor hubby made himself ill with the stress. Second time was still stressful but a bit less so and they have just recently been told again that changes may be happening and my husband is now said he won’t be upset if it happens. He works for a world wide company also. Wishing you luck in your job search and that you and Aimee don’t stress to much. I know easier said than done. 💙💙💙🦄
I think most of us have probably been through this - it's a different world. Years ago, people would be with the same company until they retired - nowadays, it's not the case. It's rare that someone stays with the same company their entire career. If this helps, I've always found that whenever it happened to me, a new and better door always opened up. I know you'll be fine, I'll keep you guys in my prayers. (Have you considered a job search in Portland? I know you love it there.)

Chris had lost his job in february 2018. 1 month after Cora was born and it was the most stressful time. Luckily we had made the decesion in Nov 2017 to move into my mom's for a while to save money for a house but then that happened. It put a damper on our plans and we ended up having to live with my mom for about 4 months past what we planned. But summer came along and we were blessed with an even bigger and better opportunity for him and it was a "oh damn...it all worked out how it was supposed to!" moment. Lol. Tyson, I am confident that your path is on it's way to bigger and better things. Maybe not even financially but just, your life is expanding to bigger and better things! And just like you said, its growth! It's going to be great. Sending my well wishes and all the luck in the world that it all works out exactly how you need it to! Love you guys ❤❤

I'm sorry Tyson. I've seen you in the background but didn't think anything of it. I'm in a similar position. I'm pregnant and once I told my employer, they placed me on a leave. I was forced to leave in February and I'm not allowed to come back until October. But honestly, Im not sure if I'll be going back. I hope things get better for you.

I've been through alot at my job been robbed twice I've had 3 diffrent managers. My experience every time i hit the 7 year mark i start getting wrote up for some of the dumbest things i need to find something else but its hard to find a good paying job in TN i have to live with family because i can't afford a place of my own

You both have a good attitude about this We went through this also Have you looked into unemployment? I don't know how it works in Utah but it was a big help for us in NY Here they have workshops that help you find a job We were both in the medical field He couldn't take it anymore even though he had a degree Now he drives a school bus and is much happier He makes as much as I did as a nurse Stay strong
He can apply for unemployment when his severance package runs out. I think.
