This stunningly beautiful instrumental was written by a German genius who went by the name of Michael Thomas. The steel guitarist was a member of a European band who called themselves the Waikikis. This instrumental went global and has lasted all of those years now still on CDs and on YoutTube. An ongoing global hit which captured traditional Hawaiian music which brought the entire world to the cultural magic of the Hawaiian Islands and the spirit (manna) of those sacred islands and their Polynesian history. Michael Thomas is a pseudonym of Martin Böttcher, one of the most famous German Movie composers. He also wrote the title melody of the Winnetou movies.
