The fact that the first fight tomato had was pretty close, with arguably the second best player. Should tell you if he wasn’t throwing it, he would be winning in pvp and probably the game overall.
If he wasn't throwing it he would've taken actual gear and would've easily won that encounter. A build wouldn't have a big enough impact to where you could beat someone who has actual weapons, a full set of gear, and a build on top of that. It was painfully obvious he wasn't gonna try to win and I dont know why chat thought otherwise.
"Was I in the bathroom when he explained that?" Says tomato after asking criken to repeat himself seconds after he explained it the first time. While not afk. He truely was in throwing mode
i didnt realize how much of a total mmorpg conan was until they started talking "legendary weapons" and spawning like mummy queens and skeleton archers like fucking wow or skyrim. i thought this was just like rust caveman roleplay survival
Love Tomato, and I'm enjoying most of what I'm seeing with this stream. Still not the biggest fan of someone purposely losing/throwing, so there are moments where I'm less into it.
I agree. imo it impacted the quality of the stream and it gave a clear indication as to who wasn't gonna win. In crikens colosseum people watch to see who would win but when one of the people participating wasn't planning on trying it just kinda made watching feel pointless.
Well no. The champ does not like competitive games. This is actually the last time Tamto attends this incarnation of colloseum. Not going to be there for the finals. And to be honest, he already very visibly did not enjoy playing by the time of this episode
Hot take: This is the worst criken coliseum ive watched from tamto's perspective. It just feels like he's went out of his way the whole time to be less entertaining.
that's what throwing does. It makes an unenjoyable experience. The L4D2 stream was really enjoyable because you didn't have one of the participants going out of their way to lose. He did plan on letting somebody else win but it didn't work out and he won. Honestly he should've played to have fun but instead played so that he couldn't win and impacted the quality of the stream.
I mean....he is very funny BUT! Throwing ain't fun He has said it himself I get he doesn't like "competitive gaming" but, the least you can do if someone invites you to something so big as "Coliseum" you HAVE to take it with a hint of seriousness :/
I watched half of the stream, couldn't bear the rest. Throwing any match is not fun to watch at all. Tomato wasn't even trying to win, like atleast try and give up/throw at the last moment.
he didn't want to ruin the fun of others by Tomato Gaming(tm) it too hard, I mean yea throwing on purpose probably wasn't very fun to watch but he was d e s p e r a t e to lose
The first problem is taking this serious to begin with. I had a great time and didn't care even for a second about who won. The social distance bar/pad/throne was the best part.
If tomato played to have fun instead of playing to win or lose the stream would've been way more enjoyable. The stream just grinds to a halt within the first hour for me because of tomato constantly reminding chat that he wasn't gonna try and was throwing. Throwing isn't fun especially when he could've just played without caring about winning or losing and it would've been enjoyable for both his friends and the viewer instead we get a stream that falls flat at least that is what I felt because of the knowledge that he never planned of trying. It just resulted in him doing whatever he could to lose for the end goal of letting somebody else win.
Tomato “Tired of being a gamer” Gaming
Tomato purposely throws the entire colosseum.
Almost won the entire thing.
**Tomato needs 20$ to hear through both ears.**

Joe has the patience of a saint lol
It's cool that he's throwing it and doesn't want to keep doing the coliseum and all, but that classic Tomato toxicity really shines through here
The most masterful throw at the end.
Tomato "have I mentioned I'm throwing?" Gaming

Tomato literally made me cry laughing at the house decoration challenges, my goodness gracious they were fricking creations of absolute perfection.
I laughed so damn hard at the bachelor pad build! 👌🏻👌🏻
He only knew he would lose hard, so he saw a chance to make it appear he wanted to lose the entire time.

Ok I know I’m going to sound like a idiot but is this like tomato’s streaming channel or something?
Nevermind I did 2 minutes of research and feel like the clown I am.

Tomato “champ champ throw” gaming
Imagine gaming for a living and not even being semi-competent enough to hold your own against someone as decently skilled as Tomato.
Can someone give me context as to why tomato is throwing?
He won twice in a row, by a lot each time.

I’m finally here first
Bruce’s constant complaining is just annoying.
Tomato says it isnt genuine but I doubt that tbh
Not sure how to feel about this one. Pretty disappointed I guess for one.
Hahaha

Really? I was afraid I paid the man to fall and he almost wo- I mean... Yeah man is sucks but what are we gonna do about it (TamtoSloth)
I agree. And Tomato agrees too. Which is why he quit Colloseum
