you totally right about this extension on 1-2 kHz. when you have this it's immediately means vocal and guitar forward presentation. something similar I had on Audeze MM-100.
EPZ TP30 💎✨👌is a good warm analog-like DAC. I was gonna aim to buy it on my Amazon wishlist but... I change my mind. I'm might buy the Colofly CDA-M1P instead. It's neutral in tuning yet it has a natural, organic, analog timbre sound quality.
@@BassDad8 Not buying yet anything. By the next year I think for $100 I will have much more premium set that I will use with my PC (where I spent my most time on) and use the Aria 2 with my phone haha
@BassDad8 I tend to be more sensitive to BA treble (and PZT treble). If it is DD or planar, boosted treble seems to bother me less. Though, I have no idea why...
@@hazi5961 I get that. BA treble can be harsh. It is not that apparent in the K5, but I am not very sensitive to it, so hard to say if it will bother you or not.
with that many drivers, should be relatively easy to eq for any mind of music, IF the crossover is properly done for the dd and the ba's. its going for close to $170 on aliexpress now it seems?
If you click on the non-affiliated link in the description, it is going for $101.60 on the EPZ official storefront. I have seen an inflated RRP of $170 though. Which makes $100 seem even better lol.
Yes. I believe that would be accurate. The mids definitely have presence and they are detailed and not too warm. The treble is very polished, if on the energetic side, and the mid bass kicks. mild-V would be my way to describe it.
I believe you! I mean I have really enjoyed the H30 and Neo3, so I know I like the "house" sound already. I should probably just bite the bullet and get a set.
Less than $100 worth buying I like the sound balanced and huge I watch music from TH-cam and watch movies the sound is sharp I don't like the sound to change or according to the music I like it to be warm comfortable without brightness I tried Delsey, Galeo, Hexa and Red all of them have a sharp and boring sound and the sound changes according to the video
Artti T10. That is my go to for balance. It needs power though. Even if it is just a dongle dac/amp, that will help. It goes big. You can definitely push the volume on it.
@@abdullah_12_12 I’d say you need at least some amplification to get the best out of them. Something like the Shanling UA1 plus. If you get both on sale, you can still stay under $100
The Zero:RED with the 10 ohm impedance gets warmer and fuller without any sharpness, but you do need crank up the volume and listen it louder. I would recommend the stock narrow-bore instead of wide-bore.
@@Hoods_ Truth. But I detect almost no sharpness in the T10. I know it's a planar, but it acts more like a DD in so many ways. Both sets need to be turned up, that is for sure!

For me it is not even close. The Cinno had to little energy in the ear gain for me. The step in the K5 is different, but it doesn't lack energy, it just smooths it out some around 2KHz. And as far as everything else goes, the K5 is superior.
I'm honestly not even sure what my endgame IEM would be. I like too many kinds and styles of music. I have sets ranging from 3.00 to 300.00. If I could choose only one of the ones I have, probably the Kefine Delci or Dunu DaVinci.
I realized months ago that I will never find my endgame IEM. That is just not going to be possible. What I was really hoping for was a $100 or less set that just blew me away. And that is what the K5 did. I struggled to remove it from my ears whenever I actually had to.

See! That is what I thought! But the rep said it would be too bright for the K5. I definitely did not experience that. It was a great pairing!
Onix Alpha Xl1 spotted 🤩
you bet! I am just waiting for the Shanling OTG to show up from Amazon so it will work with my iPhone. I hate my iPhone. lol.
I'd buy that too but... one dac at a time. I'm not ready for that endgame DAC commitment. 😅
Welp looks like those green ones are going to be coming home soon.
Go Green! Then come back and mock me for my "safe" choice. lol!
The green one looks so cool just looked at it. If it can be got for 90$, I think one of the best sets for that price.
You can. Just wait a few hours lol. The green set was also $76 during the last sale.
