I’ve been trying to start doing remixes myself, but I’ve been mostly limited to playing the vocal melody on an acoustic instrument for the level of control I want. Having the original lyrical track would help a LOT.
There’s actually plenty of sites online that can isolate both the vocals and instrumental, I forgot the name of the one I used but most of them do the job well, other then that I just did some basic audio editing in my DAW to cut out the silence and overall boost the vocals!
