Welcome back.... I miss my weekends without you. I like to watch YT videos and clean my craft room when in a creative rut. Thankfully that is not an issue atm!
When I am in a creative rut…. I try to get out into nature, especially by water. Then I reorganize my supplies and watch your videos. And I also scroll thru Instagram…. I also shop my favorite online store….Also YOU!! LOL
When I get in a creative rut I watch Layle working on her travelers notebooks 😃
To get out of a creative rut, I like to go through some older supplies that I have forgotten about. I get all excited about finding something “new” then try to find the perfect pictures to scrap with my new found goodies!
I get out of a creative rut by looking at inspiration on Instagram, watching TH-cam videos, organize my craft supplies, and finally walk away when those others things don't work.
I agree about in person teaching or just being together creating....I so miss my friends ❤️❤️
What I do to get out of a creative rut, is to look at my stash and remember what I was planning to do with them when I first purchased them...even if they were from 10 yrs ago, teehee
I often remove my creative block/rut by looking at what others have created and almost always get super inspired. The ideas then flow like water from a tap!
Busy at work today. Just caught the end of live. Will have to watch later.. cute sweater!! I have my drivers license # memorized :) happy Saturday!!
Wow this was fun and addictive. I re-watched while doing all kinds of stuff. If I get into a creative rut I usually turn to Pinterest or Instagram. Thanks Layle.

When I’m in a rut, I get out a newer supply, like a stencil, stamp,and use it in my journal, then I get the groove back!
Sorry for not being live. Was so tiered that I was in bed before 8 pm. When I’m in a creative rut I go clean up in my craftroom. All the stuff going through your hands bring ideas in your head. So I want to go and craft.
So glad you were back today! When I’m in a creative rut I pull out a kit I’ve bought or look up sketches
When I’m in a creative rut, I read read, browse magazines and Pinterest, and watch TH-cam!
I like to go back and look at things I have done before and see what things or techniques I really enjoy
I love that clip and can’t wait to receive these stamps.
Listening to 70’s music, cleaning my craft room & looking through recent photos helps to give my Ideas, Inspiration & Motivation when I’m in a Creative Rut!

Awesome video! To get out of a creative rut, I make something for a friend. Even if I can’t think of a way to finish a project for myself, I can always create something for someone else.

When I’m in a rut. I go back over some journals I’ve done or photos and that seems to help.
I've been watching your videos for a while now and love love love your lists and layouts. Finally, put my order in! Your videos keep me company when I'm working late at night :-) Thank you for the inspiration!

Hi, I only recently found you and I love your work😍 Im not a list maker in general but I have now started a TN for listing. Im hoping to join you for some lives, however I live in Australia so its generally quite early over here, plus we are currently travelling fulltime around Australia in a caravan, so internet connection is sketchy. What I do to get out of a creative rut is to flip back through my albums, or reorganise my stash, or just look at and touch and just drool over my gorgeous supplies... that generally gets the juices flowing. Tsf. Xx

I so love the lists! And washi tape isn't something I have a lot of to swatch, however, I have a list of collection's from my favorite scrapbook companies.
When I get into a creative rut, I clean, reorganize, and refresh! That seems to push some sort of reset button for me . . . LOL. I'm usually good to go after I get my space "feeling" better and more comfortable to me.

Things I do to get out of a creative rut…. Watch TH-cam Layle obviously! And maybe go shopping for a new product. Flip thru past idea photos. And or go to Instagram, Pinterest, TH-cam for other ideas.
When I am in a Creative Rut I look through a photo folder on my phone called Inspiration which has photos of all things I have found inspirational over time. I also look at art technique books that have loads of ideas in them.

Hi Layle! Sorry I missed the live -- I was doing an all day December Daily thing! (Not sure it was worth missing my listing day however!) So, what I do when I'm lacking mojo is varied! I watch videos, I die cut random stuff or color random images (I also do card making); I watch videos! Sometimes I even just bag the whole thing and take a break and read a book or play the piano!! (I guess I try anything!) :) Welcome home -- and I love the new stuff -- those word ephemera are perfect for documenting December and the new stamp sets and washi sound cool!!
Hi Layle, great live this week.... I was able to do three lists and loved the chat... as for what I do to get out of a creative rut, my number one is to clean/organize my craft space because a clean space makes the creative juices flow and I get to see all the products I have which oftens makes me think of what I can do with them.... Wishing you a Happy Thanksgiving this week and congratulations on your health kick... You look fantastic!

Hi Layle--my first time joining you this week, and it was great! I memorized the US presidents back when I was 6, and used to walk around reciting them. Still can do that, although I've had to add a few!

I go to Instagram to help me get out of a rut and also Facebook.
